The last owner to have it was a retired military man in his 30s. He owned the car for quite sometime and bought it with around 10,000 miles on it. I bought this car after my previous car sold. After finding out my clinical rotations were all out of state I will be needing a slightly larger vehicle to carry around all my belongings. I am a mature Physical Therapy Graduate student who has paid his way through college and graduate school. I have had this car serviced and made sure the car was a good buy before I got it awhile back. Caldwell Toyota here in Conway AR did a diagnostic on the car. They found two missing lug nuts, a slight drip from the water pump, and then they noted the rear tires were more worn than the new front ones. I had one spare lug nut so I had them put that on. Other than the other lug nut and maybe a water pump at some point (car does not have a timing belt so you can just change water pump for ~225) the car is mint. Pump itself has a lifetime warranty and Labor has a one year warranty. The car also has fresh coolant. Everything is ready to go!! Also, this car does not having a timing belt, has a timing chain. Some have asked. Timing chains do not need to be replaced, if they do its usually over 200,000 miles. Should save some $. Could you explain a bit more about the TRD upgrades and Intake kit. Curious as to why you get better gas mileage with just an Intake and Exhaust. Is it a K&N air filter? Is the "Illumination Bulb" expensive or have to be replaced by the dealership? Wondering why you didn't just replace it. On the tires were the missing Lug Nuts the cause of the uneven wear? How much tread is on the tires? Do you have an airport nearby and would you be willing to pick me up at the airport If I decided to Fly? - sandcoral Dear sandcoral, So many questions! Ok I will start with the first and work through to the last. The headunit is a JVC Double Din unit. Sub and amp are specifically designed for the car and they are mounted in the corner of the rear of the hatch and ,therefore, does not take up very much room. It is ported and over 100W RMS. Not extremely loud but they do add a richness to the sound. The rest of the speakers are stock but sound very good. I use 87 octane. Cold air intakes grab colder air from outside the engine bay (colder air results in better combustion), in addition, they allow less resistance when pulling air and therefore it gives a better throttle response. The trd exhaust is mainly for sound but it does reduce back pressure to some extent and can give better gas mileage as well. The street glow system basically adds color underneath your car. It is purely aesthetic and serves no other purpose, hence the reason why I never had it replaced (and no it is not expensive). Front tires are brand new. Rear ones have about 10,000 miles left. Missing one lug nut I'm guessing because the mechanic forgot to put it back on. Even if tires are unbalanced, lug nuts to not come undone. Also, the tires are balanced!
