You are bidding on a very rare 1950 Dodge 1 1/2 ton pilot house truck these trucks were the work horses of the 50's use for just about every commercial application. I found this gem on a farm in Maine! I originally bought this vehicle to be used for adverting our business, but with no time on my hands it has just sat in the garage. I hope someone will give this truck some TLC The truck cab is in very good condition the normal rust in thee floor pans and rocker panels has been cut out and replaced. The windows and window rollers have been removed as I was prepping for paint. The engine is a flat 6 with 26000 original (farm miles), that runs great! I also have a very nice oil bath air filter for it. The carburator has been rebuilt since the picture one of the seals had gone on the carburator before the picture was taken. The exhaust is new. It also has new brake lines but the rear master cylinder need to be rebuilt. So the brakes do not work right now. It does have the drive line emergency brake that works great. The Frame is very heavy duty and very solid! With just some minor surface rust, most has been treated and removed. The flat bed is hand made out of 2 X 6 rough cut fir and is very well built!
