1982 Datsun Diesel Pickup Hi, selling my 1982 Datsun Pickup, with a factory SD22 diesel engine, and 5-speed manual transmission. The truck has 125K original miles, and is in very nice shape for its age. I believe I am the third owner, and the truck has been well taken care of and has had a canopy on it since new. The current canopy was purchased brand new about 3 years ago to match the truck, and has a nice aluminum rack on top. Has also resided in Oregon since new, and there is NO rust issues on the truck because we do not salt the roads here. The paint is all original and is in nice shape, but is not perfect and there are some dents & dings, the worst being on the tailgate & back portion of the bed. The windshield also has a crack, I can have it replaced at a local business for $150 if needed. I believe that the pictures show a good picture of the trucks condition, which is very nice for its age. Truck runs and drives excellent, and usually gets around 35-40 miles per gallon. Cruises down the road with good power, and drives straight. Tires are all matching Toyo spectrums, and have good tread, but are a bit weathered from age. They have a lifetime warranty from Les Schwab tires however. Also, the truck has a manual shut-off.I would not hesitate driving the truck anywhere, its in excellent running and driving condition. If the high bidder would like to fly into Portland, I am happy to pick them up at the airport. The truck can also be shipped if desired.
