1970 VW Beetle with 1961 body conversion. You are looking at a very nice 1970 body VW Beetle with fenders, hood and trunk from a 1961. This is a popular conversion among Beetle owners. The car was pawned at our business and was not recovered, so we do not have any history on it. Comes with polishes aluminum wheels, heavily modified body and suspension, the engine is running perfectly, 4 speed tranny shifts fine, we just replaced the main pulley. There are some details that can be seen in the pictures: needs some bodywork, the front suspension is very very low and very hard, so it needs to be worked on. Other than that, it is a nice piece of machinery. MILEAGE SHOWS 63,481, but will sell as mileage unknown CLEAN TITLE It is currently registered and I have the title on hand, so it can be a quick and easy transaction. For California sales, we MUST do all paperwork and collect sales tax and registration fees. There is an additional $50.00 fee for paperwork which is NOT included in your bid. For out of state sales, a valid out-of-state driver's license is required for pick up of car, or a bill of lading from a transport company for shipping.
