Up for bidding is a 1947 ford coupe that needs someone to finish,it is a body off frame build.The car is built to resemble custom cars built in the '40's-early '50's.FRAME:original mustang 2 front suspension,w/manuel rack steering,disc brakes,NO AIR BAGS IN FRONT..rear end is '98 ford explorer w/disc brakes,dual traction.has factory style 4 link with air bags.has power brakes via corvette master cylinder/booster.original gas tank.all new brake lines.ENGINE:chevy 350 v8.all stock.Has New Champion Radiator,1 wire alternator,dual exhaust with smithys mufflers dump ahead of rear end..TRANS:350 G.M..automatic w/.external cooler.TIRES: old Firesstone 670x15,weathered but good tread.BODY:chopped top with skirts.all glass cut and present.I will install door glass if i have time,i do have new glass and weatherstrips for doors.Shaved doors,w/solinoid in drivers side.All chrome trim removed,trunk and hood shaved.trunk opens with cable.Hood is narrowed and smoothed.Modified grille opening with custom grille made with three 1942 grille pieces.Front and rear gravel pans are welded to body and smoothed.Front and rear fenders are welded and smoothed to body also for very pleasing flowing lines.Original taillights pulled in towards trunk and welded to fenders and smoothed.Vent opening on cowl is eliminated.Body is in black epoxy primer that is weathered.All body work is done,hood needs some minor body work.original bumpers inccluded.INTERIOR:dash is restored with blue paint and new chrome accent pieces,original gauges not working.Has aftermarket gauges,Water,oil.Amp gauge is not connected.New basic wiring harness made one wire at a time by owner.everything funtions as it should.Both front and rear seats are present.1951 ford steering wheel.There is NO upholstery in car.Nada.Bare seats. All major work is completed.Car needs detail work like paint ,upholstery ,alignment,etc..
