1972 Ford Mustang Fastback "Q" code. This is a project car and will need to be trailered. I bought this car to make a resto-mod driver and have lost interest. Wife says I have too many toys so I'm trying to reclaim some garage space for my other interests. Car does have a 351 cleveland 4v engine that was running when I put car in garage. I pulled the transmission thinking I was going to put in a 5-speed, so I am no longer able to start the engine. There is rust, but the floors and the majority of the car are solid. It's an Iowa car that's 40 years old, so don't expect a rust free southern car. The car does have a new fuel tank and sending unit installed as well as new rear leaf springs. I put on a set of cobra style 17" rims and tires to see what it would look like and they are included with the car. I also have a bunch of new parts including carpet, headliner, front bumper, and reupholstered seats and fold down back seat parts. All parts I have from this car will be included in the sale. I will also include the extra passenger fender and I have stock front disc brakes and a rear disc brake set up off an explorer that will work for the 9" rear axle. This car has some nice options like the in dash tach as well as the three gauge center cluster, has the deluxe door panels, and the fold down rear seat option. I'm starting this auction at what I consider a low price for what you are getting, and yes I will be losing money if it sells that low! My loss, your gain. Thanks.
