I have had this car for about four years. I enjoy it every spring and fall, it's just about impossible not to. It really turns heads and gets attention. It runs well but of course it is older and far from perfect. First, it is just about time for a new paint job. I bought this car off Ebay and thought that it was probably originally yellow but I discovered that someone had changed the color from orange to its current yellow at some time in the car's life. So it has been repainted. It also has several cracks in the paint and the paint if fading from sun in some places. Also, the gas filler leaked one time due to my losing the gasket (now replaced) and the paint bubbled. There is some rust here and there but nothing bad. I put in the wooden floor mats and put in a CD player. I got the speaker set from "The Thing Shop" and they go into existing holes. Sounds pretty good. Nice stereo that plays CD's and iPod/MP3. The top is in good shape but has some wear in the inside from the bars. Honestly it's a nice car and not as bad as I explain it but I just want to be up front with everything and will also happy answer questions via phone or email. Also comes with car cover specifically for the Thing, the side windows (curtains), a full repair manual and an appraisal I had to have for my insurance company. I have a clear title in my name. I have really enjoyed this car and I hope you will as well. I an selling it because I do not have the room for another vehicle and I hate the idea of having to park it on the street where I am sure it will get hit eventually. Happy bidding.
