Hello, I have a 1970 International Scout 800 4x4. It has a spring over axle lift, I has a small block chevy 400 V8 engine and a turbo 400 automatic transmission and Dana 20 twin stick transfer case. This scout has very little rust which is in the driver floor board and it is just starting to bubble. I did spray rubber bed liner to slow it down and did drill hole to let water flow out. It is stored inside. The body and rockers and wheel wells have no rust. This would be a great project for someone who would like a sweet off road rig. It has 35x12.50x15 Radial TSL super swampers with 25 to 30% tread. The driver side front does air down after a month and a half. The engine runs good but just started to smoke out right side, has tons of power. Transmission shifts through all gears just fine and transfer case works great also. It does need some steering work as it is very loose and brakes do not stop it very well. Also needs driver side front wheel bearings before it can be driven. Has removeable top and roll bar. Interior is not orignal but is usable. does have rear bench but needs recovered. None of the guages work, the fuel gauge did work until I filled one of the tanks all the way full and then they both quit working. Unknown mileage on scout or current drive train. I recently moved from washington state to colorado so the scout has a clear washington state title and is currently registered in washington.
