1968 Triumph Tiger

Triumph 1968 500cc twin. Not sure of the model, single carb, high pipes. Stored in the back of a shop for over 20 years previous owner says grampa rode it into the shop. I have no way of knowing if motor is locked up from sitting or it was sitting because it was locked up. Looks to be mostly complete and mostly original. Motor and frame numbers are a match. Tank has a little sludge in the bottom but appears a good rinse and it's good to use seems dent free. No key. Seat pan rusted. . Little corrosion on wheels but should be fine for rider. Rolls easily. What you see is what you get, sold as is where is. The opening bid is the reserve, Bill of Sale only, they couldn't find the title but supplied Bill of Sale. This bike looks to me like a really good restoration candidate, way too good to part out. As I have gotten older have narrowed my resto efforts to 1957 to 1969 Sportsters and don't have the time or inclination to give this bike what it deserves. This Friday I have a transporter bringing another old Sportster to me. When they leave here they are headed towards the east coast, maybe if someone works it right they can have the Triumph delivered by them.
