Here is a rare classic Beetle with very low mileage (71,146). It runs and drives ok and tracks straight. The brakes are fair and it has a good set of radial tires. It’s a rare car that just needs some cosmetic attention and a little fine going over. It’s an easy restoration or just give it a once over and drive it like it is. It’s not perfect, but it’s driveable and has a lot of potential. The interior is in decent condition for its age. Any imperfections are shown in the photos. (See Pictures) The body has the normal dings one would expect for a car of its age. It was repainted some time ago and there is some peeling paint and rust at the seams. The floor has the usual rust spot 6” X 8” by the front passenger footwell (not pictured). Other than that we did our best to picture everything. (See Pictures) The engine has a little blow by but it runs ok. The car qualifies for antique plates and insurance in most all the states. The cost is usually around $60 for the whole year. Check with your insurance agent or check out the ads in Hemmings for collector car insurance. There aren’t very many of these left. Here’s a chance to own one for the right money. It will be sold to the highest bidder regardless of price! This vehicle was gifted to the American Children’s Society. They have authorized us to sell it as-is for the highest bid.
