This truck has been custom built from the ground up. WHEELS & TIRES NEW Tires: Toyo Open Country M/T 38 x 14.50 -16 have zero miles NEW Wheels: black Rockcrawler Streetlock 16 x 10 AXLES Rear Dana 60 full-floating 4.10 gears & Track-Lok limited slip Front Dana 44 with Dana 60 hubs and front swaybar Lug bolt pattern is 8 on 6.5" on all 4 wheels SUSPENSION Front coil springs are from a 3/4 ton 1997 F250 LD Rear springs are custom 3/4 ton leaf springs (5 leafs) NEW rear shocks Skyjacker Nitro 8000 TRANSMISSION & CLUTCH Transmission is the orginal 5-speed M5R2 Centerforce Dual Friction clutch and pressure plate F250/350 hydraulic clutch master cylinder F250/350 hydraulic clutch slave cylinder ENGINE Replaced engine at 80k miles with a brand new (from Ford) 4.2L V6 that currently has 133k miles. Runs smooth & gets 17-22 MPG. NEW Optima Red Top high-output battery NEW Motorcraft powertrain control module NEW Motorcraft ignition coil NEW Motorcraft spark plug wires NEW Motorcraft spark plugs K&N cold air intake Borla cat back exhaust (3.5" single in / single out) with dual chrome tips EXTERIOR Raven fiberglass camper shell molded specifically for this truck with factory matched Ford Bright Red paint. Has sliding side windows, felt headliner, and bed mat 2" receiver tow hitch (ball not included) mounted to frame Factory Ford front tow hooks from a 4WD added INTERIOR OEM Ford AM/FM CD player Gray cloth bench seat Gray vinyl floor covering New floor mats FUTURE PLANS In its current state, the truck is 2WD, but the foundation has been laid to easily finish making it into a 4WD. I had planned to replace the stock transmission with a ZF S5-42 and Borg Warner 13-56 (or Ford NP205) transfer case from a mid-90s F250/F350 with 351 engine, which has the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the 4.2L. Next I was going to add a front driveshaft, front 4.10 gears, custom 30-spline outer axle shafts (stock 30-spline inner axle shafts come with truck), and it will be a very solid 4WD truck. I am the 2nd owner of truck, purchased it in 2001 with 35k miles on it. Truck currently has 213k overall miles, Meticulous records and some spare parts come with truck.
