Vehicle Detail

1980 Chevy Camaro: Chevy 350 engine with Edelbrock RPM air-gap intake manifold (endurashine) Turbo 350 automatic transmission Hooker long tube headers March Serpentine System Chrome Alternator Chrome Power Steering Pump Chrome Valve Covers B&M Megashifter 10 Bolt rear-end with 3.73 gears (posi) Cragar SS rims (15 in) T-Tops GM Red-Orange body color with black vinyl interior Side exhaust with Purple Hornies mufflers This Camaro is in good condition. It turns heads wherever you go. The engine bay is all chromed out. It has a clean title (MA title, MA registration). This car is a mid-entry collector car. Drive it while you restore it to new condition. These cars are getting harder to find as the gen-2 camaros get bought up and sold. For CA buyers, the exhaust will need to be updated to pass emissions. This is your opportunity to purchase a solid driver while you make those modifications for street or strip applications. On Mar-11-12 at 13:03:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Updated: I loaded pictures of the interior and undercarriage. I also have the original hood (79 Z28 hood) which comes with the car plus some original parts that I removed in favor of chrome items. The car is in good mechanical order. It is drivable. It has new plugs and wires. For restoration items, the racing hood on there now needs new paint. The original hood fits, but without the air filter attached because the air-gap intake adds 2 inches to the deck so the original hood doesn't have enough clearance. The paint could use a good buff and color sanding in spots..nothing big. No major rust on the car, as it was originally from Texas before I bought it in MA. Never saw snow (who would drive a camaro in the snow anyways?). There is minor paint bubbling (so surface rust) at the door corners, but that's it. No rust at the typical window corners. The floor boards are excellent. The frame is good. The interior has no tears or rips. The dash as a small tear in the center under the middle gauges...that probably needs to be replaced. On Mar-11-12 at 13:26:40 PDT, seller added the following information: For CA buyers only, since the car does not come with a smog certificate, the buyer will be responsible for this by either correcting the emissions or signing a waiver when registering the car. To make this a good deal for CA buyers, the reserve, and the "buy it now" option are set way below the cost to put on catalytic converters and the appropriate exhaust components. Thanks. On Mar-11-12 at 13:33:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Added a video of the engine running and the side exhaust note.
