Rare 1980 Turbo Trans Am Indy Pace Car, 1 of 5700 made in 1980. 4.9L Turbocharged V8 Engine, 3-Speed Automatic Transmission, Positive track rear axle with 3.08:1 axle ratio, WS6 Performance Handling Package with 4-wheel disc brakes, Silver T-Tops, Rear Defroster, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Trunk Opener, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, with other options that were available for the car at that time, down to the original AM/FM/ Stereo with Cassette Player. The car shows 20,404 miles. I have owned this car since 1985, but the car hasn’t run since I purchased it. I purchased it “AS IS” with the intentions of restoring it. It has been stored outside under a car port. The car has a 1985 tag and has not been tagged since then. The car has a clear and clean title. To my knowledge I am the 2nd owner of this car. I do know that the left front fender and left front lower spoiler are not original. As far as I know the rest of the car is original with matching numbers. The car does have the original stickers that came on the car under the hood, on drivers door and on the inside trunk lid. The car has minimal rust. Overall the body is in good condition. Underneath of car looks good with no rusted out holes. It has the typical surface rust like a 32 year old car would have that has been sitting. Tires are old and weather cracked, but holds air. The car has a lot of potential and would be a great restorable project car. In one picture you will see the only parts that came with the car when I purchased it. The turbo is missing and a few other parts as you can see in the pictures. There is a few dings and dents on the car, but overall a good solid body to work with.
