Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This car comes with a GreaseCar conversion kit installed (visit greasecar.com for information about the kit). I’ve owned the car 4 years and put on over 50k miles running on waste vegetable oil, saving a substantial amount on fuel costs. The car has 2 fuel tanks and can be run on either waste vegetable oil or diesel with a flick of a switch in the cabin. The car runs great but must be sold. It’s been my daily commuter and idles, drives, and runs great. The body is in amazing condition for a 1979 car in Minnesota with just a couple of minor rust spots around the fenders. Here’s a list of work I’ve done to the car since owning it: Installed all new shocks, installed new heavy duty starter, all new injectors, new (used) differential, new (used) injection pump, new alternator, new thermostat, new front rotors, all new door seals, etc. Along with the car, if desired, I’m including various tools, some filters, and gaskets, specific to the car. I also have WVO pumping and filtering equipment (110V diesel transfer pump, barrel heaters, etc) along with my reliable waste vegetable oil source if the buyer is interested. The car is 32 years old and along with that isn’t perfect. The A/C compressor went out this spring but aside from that the system was working fine. The driver’s seat has a 2 inch rip in the upholstery, and has always leaked some oil while I've owned it. The car must be driven to be appreciated. Reply to the add for more information, or to schedule a viewing/drive. On Mar-07-12 at 14:51:48 PST, seller added the following information: Just took off the driver's seat cover I was using and see the rip has increased to more like 6 inches long in the time I've had the cover on. Let me know if you'd like a pic of the rip, or any other part of the car.
