Vehicle Detail
1999 MERCEDES BENZ SL500-WHITE WITH GRAY INTERIOR I bought this car from a friend back in 2008, with approx 112,000 miles on it. I only drive this car on weekends and only when the weather is nice. It has 4 new tires, new Mercedes Benz brakes, rides like a dream and is so much fun to drive! All 16 spark plugs were changed about year ago when the car was tuned up. Car also comes with a $2,800 SL600 Wood Steering Wheel. The top has a small rip in the back window (these windows are made of plastic and can be replaced) but other than that and some small scrapes under the front end fascia, does not need a thing. It starts right up, the motorized top works flawlessly and the Bose Sound System is awesome. The car always passes inspection and has never given me any trouble at all. As for the CarFax report, about three years ago, while I was at a light, the driver in the right lane pulled into my lane as the light changed green, and as pulled out, her car scraped the passenger side panels of my SL, which is why it states it has been in an accident. No frame damage at all was done, and the car was expertly repaired and re-painted by the renowned Caruso Auto Body Shop in Plainfield, NJ, which specializes in Mercedes-Benz repairs. I have all the receipts to verify the work done, along with Caruso's Body Work summary. I'm selling my toy since my 16 year old is now driving and WILL NOT be driving this! I've just purchased an 07 Honda Civic for him and the wife has insisted that my toy has to go, as we have far too many cars now!
