Vehicle Detail

1966 Ford Mustang Coupe, as shown. Very nice example of a fairly low-rust dry climate car, but obviously needing complete restoration. Free and clear title, showing VIN 6FO7T193875. Odometer shows 68663, and this vehicle has not been driven much since 1977, when the last title was issued, but true miles are unknown. This Mustang has 4 bolt wheel lugs so it was originally a six cylinder car, but now has a V8 installed, as shown. As it hasn't been started in several years at least, and details of the V8 conversion aren't available, expect a full rebuild may be in order for the engine, automatic transmission, etc. Interior is deteriorated and disassembled as shown, with most of the major parts included, but please inquire with any specific questions. Exterior rust spots are highlighted in some photos, and there is some rust-through on the bottom of the rear quarters, but the floors look fairly decent. One hub cap is missing. Windshield is severely cracked. There is slight denting in the front roof area, and other dents as shown. Tires are old and far from road worthy. Key(s) are long lost. A great project car for a serious restoration purchaser, sold AS-IS, no warranty expressed or implied. Available for inspection in metro Denver, Colorado. Buyer responsible for shipping. Please inquire with questions and thanks for looking! On Feb-25-12 at 21:25:07 PST, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE, AS PHOTOS SHOW, VIN IS 6F07T193857, which is exactly as it appears on the title. Sorry for the typos above. On Mar-02-12 at 14:34:06 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE BEFORE BIDDING ON FLOOR RUST Some people asked about rust in the floors, and with the carpets and soundproofing in tact, it was hard to see any issues. But there rust through in two typical places I can see in the front floors, in the typical footwell area where the metal curves from the slant. The passenger side is more minor, and the driver's side looks smaller than a dollar bill, but that is not exact. I cannot add or change pictures now, but if you need more info or pics, PLEASE SEND YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WELL BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS! The floors are otherwise in reasonable condition, as are the frame rails, especially when compared to humid/salt climates. At this posting, the reserve price is not met, so there isn't a commitment on the part of any buyer. This is to make you aware of the issue before any more bids. Email for more pics! Thanks!
