Vehicle Detail
It is a 1917 T roadster pickup. Fiberglass body and 1927 fiberglass fenders. The running boards , skirts , side pannels , hood , scoop , top , radiator shell and grill , pick-up box , rear end , front end , frame , compleet exhaust system , wiring , welding , and all motor work and painting done by ME . This was my 39 Hot Rod that I built and I never thought about selling it , but I am . The death of my mother is forcing me to sell. The Corvette 4 bolt main 350 was bored and so I took it all appart and threw every thing away . To the parts house I then went and spent lots of dollars and bought lots of goodies. Like ; chromed aluminum water pump, hamberger oil pan, pink powered rods, 13.5 forged pistons, 635 lift w/ 314 duration 107 lobe seperation cam, pro 205 x 160 heads with SS valves and comp springsand, SS roller rockers, 3/8 push rods and guide plates, Millings HV oil pump for a BBC, donavin gear drive, aluminum timing cover, windage tray, aluminum valve covers, 2 Holley 650 duel feed double pump 4150 carbs, Weiand pro ram intake, two T70 x100mm turos, turbo install kit, electric Mallory fuel pump and fuel guage and pressure valve, gobs of Felpro gasgets and copper gasget cement, bearings, perfect circle rings and the list goes on and on. And I still had to build a car arround the motor. 11/2 x3 box tubing and lots of round DOM steel. Hundreds of hours spent welding and fabrocating large and small parts. Fiberglassing parts and building molds and then Putting it all together was a blast from my past. Painting it was a thrill with all of the candy green, red, orange, purple and yelloy flames over the tropical isle green and sunshine yellow body. I used a quart of varathaine on all of the oak parts. Two years in my garage day and knight of some hard labor is what I spent to get it put together. So as some of you out there know, building a Hot Rod doesn't come cheep or fast but slow and expensive. Now you could add several zeros to the dollar amount that I spent if I would have had it built for me. I think I have covered all of the bridges so if you have any questions, ask befor you bid. Once you bid you ar stuck with the bill so please ask. The winning bidder will have 24 hours to make a $2500 dollar deposit and 5 days to pay it off in full. NO exceptions ! The winning bidder is also responceable for shipping and I will help him or her to the loading doc with the car. Good luck bidding and stay safe.
