Vehicle Detail

1967 Ford Mustang Coupe, V8, 289 - Project Carpower steering and power brakes, dual exhaust, C-codeI bought this car in 2006 and began to restore, but have not touched it in a few years. It's been stored inside I got it. I realized I'm not going to finish the car; and losing my storage garage forces the sale. It's time to let someone else finish and enjoy her. A LOT of work has been done to it, and LOTS of new parts come with it. This can be a great project for someone who has the time. I'll do my best to describe the car and condition:It is a late 67 build, so it has some 68 parts including grille. It has a 289 motor. power front discs, turn signal hood, dual exhaust, A/C - but not hooked up. no console. auto trans. 95% tread left on all four 14" BF Goodrich Advantage GT RWL tires. Cragar wheels. Car will run, but has dead battery. I never did get the engine timing right. Valve covers are not tightened, started to replace gaskets but did not finish. Auto trans was rebuilt, and torque converter replaced, however trans has slight leak. The following has been repaired/replaced:· motor mounts· brake booster· master cylinder· new brakes all around and new front rotors· transmission· torque converter· water pump· dash cover· driver’s door (used replacement door, attached, but not properly)· trunk lid· interior seats (new panels)· interior carpet (new)· interior headliner (not done right, some is hanging down)· body work repaired rear and front quarterMy buddy who worked on it for about a year spent hundreds of hours in labor. The car was blue, and is now in primer. The primer job is amateurish and will need to be resanded and possibly resprayed. It is not ready for paint.Never installed new parts that go with the car cost more that $1200, these include:· new front bumper· new rear bumper· new GT fog lights, housing, wiring and switch· new ABS front chin spoiler (black)· new 12+ inch chrome exhaust tips· new windshield wiper arms· new reverse light lenses· new taillight chrome bezels· new chrome emblems· new turn signal hood kit· new weatherstripping kits· other stuff too, can't remember it all, see pics.So I've got too much money in this project, I paid $4K just for the car before the work and parts. I wanted something solid, w/ no frame rail issues; bought this from GA and had it shipped to MD. My loss, your gain.Car must be picked up prior to March 12, 2012 in Burtonsville, MD 20866. It cannot be driven.
