Yes, this is a real “A” Code GT car with 28K Actual Miles stated on the Florida title WITH Factory air!! I also have DMV records documenting the mileage as well. This car is a RUSTfree convertible that was restored about 15 years ago. It has the original drive train. There are 89 PHOTOS of the car. Make sure you let them all load up and look at all of them. It will take close to the Buy It Now to own this car. Please serious offers only. This is a factory air car, which blows ice cold. Other options includefront disc brakes, power steering, power top, and an aftermarket center console. The car has the original GT equipment including Rally Pac, Trumpet Exhaust, and GT light bar. It is 100% the real McCoy when it comes to authenticating a real GT, besides looking at the letter “A” in the VIN. I have copies of titles documenting mileage as well as state issued forms documenting them as well. It was recorded as 18,720 on 02/07/2002. This is an original sheet metal car all the way. The rockers, floors, trunk drop offs are all excellent and rust free. The undercarriage is correct with the red oxideprimer. The part numbers are clearly legible in the rocker panels as well as all the others. The VIN is clearly legible in the driver’s side apron. The door tag is present and decodes as follows: 6F08A319472 Warranty Number 76B- Convertible, Pony Interior V- Emberglo Metallic F4- Parchment Crinkle Vinyl with Emberglo Apointments, Pony Interior 18D- April, 18 1966 28- Louisville 1- 3.00: 1, Conventional 6- C4 Automatic It has been repainted the original one year only Emberglo Metallic paint. It looks great! This mustang has VERY nice paint, chrome, and ALL ORIGINALcarlite glass. The interior is in EXCELLENT original shape. Seats are in very nice shape with no rips or tears. Carpeting has been upgraded within the last couple years. All the windows roll up and down very nicely. The power top works flawlessly. All seatbelts are present and in like new condition. The dash is close to perfect. The rally pacdoes work (clock decides to work when it wants to). All other lights work including the radio and interior lights. All heater controls work well. The A/C controls all work excellent at all speeds. The air blows ice cold with no problems. It has all correct adjustments to bump idle up while air is on and kick idle down as soon as compressor shuts off. High idle is functional during cold startups. No smoking/burning at all. The car runs and drives like a low mileage car. Very tight, power steering works well, brakes are good, tires are newer, and fluids are all within normal ranges. The car does have factory front disc brakes. Notice the larger master cylinder which was intended for GT equipped cars. The doors do not sag at all when opening or closing. They are clean top, bottom, and all around the edges. The top looks to be original and is in nice shape. It has a few discolorations here and there but overall very nice and functional. This is definitely an investment grade car. Only 8 % of 66’ Mustangs came in the color combination. Only 10.2% of 66’ Mustangs were GT equipped. I have lots of maintenance records and receipts from upgrades/restoration work. In 2007 the transmission was rebuilt totaling $961.50. I also have other receipts totaling in the hundreds of dollars range on maintenance items. Up for auction is very rare unmolested 1966 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. Yes, this is a real “A” Code GT car with 28K Actual Miles stated on the Florida title WITH Factory air!! I also have DMV records documenting the mileage as well. This car is a RUST free convertible that was restored about 15 years ago. It has the original drive train. There are 89 PHOTOS of the car. This is a factory air car, which blows ice cold. Other options include front disc brakes, power steering, power top, and an aftermarket center console. The car has the original GT equipment including Rally Pac, Trumpet Exhaust, and GT light bar. It is 100% the real McCoy when it comes to authenticating a real GT, besides looking at the letter “A” in the VIN.

I have copies of titles documenting mileage as well as state issued forms documenting them as well. It was recorded as 18,720 on 02/07/2002.

This is an original sheet metal car all the way. The rockers, floors, trunk drop offs are all excellent and rust free. The undercarriage is correct with the red oxide primer. The part numbers are clearly legible in the rocker panels as well as all the others. The VIN is clearly legible in the driver’s side apron. The door tag is present and decodes as follows:

It has been repainted the original one year only Emberglo Metallic paint. It looks great! This mustang has VERY nice paint, chrome, and ALL ORIGINAL carlite glass. The interior is in EXCELLENT original shape. Seats are in very nice shape with no rips or tears. Carpeting has been upgraded within the last couple years. All the windows roll up and down very nicely. The power top works flawlessly. All seatbelts are present and in like new condition. The dash is close to perfect. The rally pac does work (clock decides to work when it wants to). All other lights work including the radio and interior lights.

All heater controls work well. The A/C controls all work excellent at all speeds. The air blows ice cold with no problems. It has all correct adjustments to bump idle up while air is on and kick idle down as soon as compressor shuts off. High idle is functional during cold startups. No smoking/burning at all. The car runs and drives like a low mileage car. Very tight, power steering works well, brakes are good, tires are newer, and fluids are all within normal ranges.

The car does have factory front disc brakes. Notice the larger master cylinder which was intended for GT equipped cars. The doors do not sag at all when opening or closing. They are clean top, bottom, and all around the edges. The top looks to be original and is in nice shape. It has a few discolorations here and there but overall very nice and functional.

This is definitely an investment grade car. Only 8 % of 66’ Mustangs came in the color combination. Only 10.2% of 66’ Mustangs were GT equipped. I have lots of maintenance records and receipts from upgrades/restoration work. In 2007 the transmission was rebuilt totaling $961.50. I also have other receipts totaling in the hundreds of dollars range on maintenance items.
