HAS NEW OLD STOCK 15" POYGLASS TIRES I FOUND AT A SWAP MEET AND I PUT ON STOCK RIMS TO GIVE IT THAT OL DRAG CAR LOOK. NEW DUAL RES MASTER CYL AND WHEEL CYLS. COULD MAKE SHORT DRIVE HOME BUT I WOULD TRAILER SINCE NO LIGHTS WORKING OTHER THAN ONE BRAKE LIGHT AND NO HEAT. 3 RD PHOTO SHOWS CAR IN SEVERAL COLORS AND SURFACE RUST BEFORE WE PRIMED. WE GOT THE CAR WITH ENGINE AND TRANS OUT AND TRIM OFF. WE FIXED THE BRAKES, INSTALLED ENG AND TRANS USING NEW STYLE SIDE MOTOR MT KIT, BOUGHT AND INSTALLED NEW WINDSHIELD AND REAR GLASS. NOW, ON THE BACK GLASS WE BOUGHT A SEAL BUT SAVED IT SO YOU CAN PULL OUT REAR GLASS AND INSTALL THE CLIPS YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL TRIM. I HATED TO WASTE THE NEW SEAL WHEN THEY COST 45 BUCKS. JUST PUSH OUT THE GLASS AND REMOVE THE BUYL TAPE, PAINT CAR, PUT ON CLIPS FOR TRIM AND NEW SEAL WITH GLASS. IT HAD SURFACE RUST AND SEVERAL COLORS SO WE SANDED AND PRIMED, SEE 3 RD PHOTO. THE BODY HAS SOME RUST BUT THE FENDERS AND INNERS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN RUSTHOLE FREE, ALONG WITH THE HOOD, THE TOP AND I BELIEVE THE DOORS. TRUNK LID HAS SOME RUST HOLES AT BOTTOM INSIDE. THE QUARTERS LOOK LIKE HAD A COUPLE LITTLE HOLES. INNER FENDERS IN TRUNK HAVE A RUSTHOLE ON EACH SIDE. TRUNK FLOOR IS GOOD EXCEPT IN THE DIP HERE LID CLOSES BUT GUTTER WHERE SEAL GOES IS GOOD. FRAME IS EXCELLENT. FLOORS ARE AWFULL. I WOULD REPLACE FULL FLOOR AND MOST SUPPORTS. I HAVE SEEN THESE WITH RUST IN COWL, IT IS ALL GOOD. VERY SOLID CAR EXCEPT FLOORS. INTERIOR HAS ORIGINAL SEATS THAT WILL NEED CUSHIONS AND COVERED. NO DOOR PANELS SO YOU WILL NEED THEM PLUS HEADLINER AND CARPET. YOU WILL WANT TO BUY NEW SIDE GLASS AND THE QUARTER GLASS NEEDS TRACK FIXED. PICTURES SHOW MOST OF TRIM FOR CAR IS THERE BUT NOT ALL. I THINK IF YOU STUDY THE PHOTOS YOU CAN SEE WHATS MISSING. I FORGOT TO PHOTO THE REAR BUMPER THAT IS MISSING MOST CHROME AND THE LARGE FINS FOR SIDE PANELS OR TRIM. WILL TRY TO GET PICS POSTED. ITS MISSING MOST OF THE SIDE BELT TRIM EXCEPT 2 PCS. NICE PROJECT BEL AIR THAT RUNS AND DRIVES. THE VC IN THE VIN TELLS YOU TRUE V8 BELAIR, SEE LAST PHOTO. HAS GOOD RUNNING 350 2 BBL AND 350 TURBO. STOCK REAREND. WAS 3 SP MANUAL AND STILL HAS PEDDLES. LOTS OF POSSIBILITES. CLEAR TITLE.
HAS NEW OLD STOCK 15" POYGLASS TIRES I FOUND AT A SWAP MEET AND I PUT ON STOCK RIMS TO GIVE IT THAT OL DRAG CAR LOOK. NEW DUAL RES MASTER CYL AND WHEEL CYLS. COULD MAKE SHORT DRIVE HOME BUT I WOULD TRAILER SINCE NO LIGHTS WORKING OTHER THAN ONE BRAKE LIGHT AND NO HEAT. 3 RD PHOTO SHOWS CAR IN SEVERAL COLORS AND SURFACE RUST BEFORE WE PRIMED.
WE GOT THE CAR WITH ENGINE AND TRANS OUT AND TRIM OFF. WE FIXED THE BRAKES, INSTALLED ENG AND TRANS USING NEW STYLE SIDE MOTOR MT KIT, BOUGHT AND INSTALLED NEW WINDSHIELD AND REAR GLASS. NOW, ON THE BACK GLASS WE BOUGHT A SEAL BUT SAVED IT SO YOU CAN PULL OUT REAR GLASS AND INSTALL THE CLIPS YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL TRIM. I HATED TO WASTE THE NEW SEAL WHEN THEY COST 45 BUCKS. JUST PUSH OUT THE GLASS AND REMOVE THE BUYL TAPE, PAINT CAR, PUT ON CLIPS FOR TRIM AND NEW SEAL WITH GLASS.
IT HAD SURFACE RUST AND SEVERAL COLORS SO WE SANDED AND PRIMED, SEE 3 RD PHOTO. THE BODY HAS SOME RUST BUT THE FENDERS AND INNERS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN RUSTHOLE FREE, ALONG WITH THE HOOD, THE TOP AND I BELIEVE THE DOORS. TRUNK LID HAS SOME RUST HOLES AT BOTTOM INSIDE. THE QUARTERS LOOK LIKE HAD A COUPLE LITTLE HOLES. INNER FENDERS IN TRUNK HAVE A RUSTHOLE ON EACH SIDE. TRUNK FLOOR IS GOOD EXCEPT IN THE DIP HERE LID CLOSES BUT GUTTER WHERE SEAL GOES IS GOOD. FRAME IS EXCELLENT. FLOORS ARE AWFULL. I WOULD REPLACE FULL FLOOR AND MOST SUPPORTS. I HAVE SEEN THESE WITH RUST IN COWL, IT IS ALL GOOD. VERY SOLID CAR EXCEPT FLOORS.
INTERIOR HAS ORIGINAL SEATS THAT WILL NEED CUSHIONS AND COVERED. NO DOOR PANELS SO YOU WILL NEED THEM PLUS HEADLINER AND CARPET. YOU WILL WANT TO BUY NEW SIDE GLASS AND THE QUARTER GLASS NEEDS TRACK FIXED. PICTURES SHOW MOST OF TRIM FOR CAR IS THERE BUT NOT ALL. I THINK IF YOU STUDY THE PHOTOS YOU CAN SEE WHATS MISSING. I FORGOT TO PHOTO THE REAR BUMPER THAT IS MISSING MOST CHROME AND THE LARGE FINS FOR SIDE PANELS OR TRIM. WILL TRY TO GET PICS POSTED. ITS MISSING MOST OF THE SIDE BELT TRIM EXCEPT 2 PCS. DRIP RAIL MISSING FOR OVER THE DOORS AND A COUPLE CORNER PCS.
