This is a fully functioning 2001 Ambulance with the Turbo V-8! I used it for carrying equipment to and from events, and for the obvious attention-getting element! Since I purchased it in 2009, I've not put 10,000 miles on it. The service has been continued from it's days in the Galesburg Il, Hospital system to my Ford Dealer Service http://sextonford.dealerconnection.com/service/ for regular maintenence. In addition to the regular service, I've replaced the entire fuel system gas tank FWD, replaced the transmission, and added a stereo/mp3 compatible with outdoor speakers also installed in 2009. Look closely at the photo and you will see that 4 of the outside strobes have been replaced with marine speakers! Oh, so sweet! The ambulance electrical system is amazing, with converters and a seperate battery/charging system for the front and rear of the vehicle. There's also a seperate cooling and heating unit for the front and rear, plus 100v outlets in rear for ac/current while on remote. Pretty cool I was soldering a microphone unit back together while at a radio station function--all while inside the van! All systems still operational (Siren, PA loudspeaker, Lights (front reds and blues covered with amber vinyl...), interior lights, outdoor load lights. Cushions removed simply because of the dried blood that I couldn't clean was creeping me out (which is awesome for you Goth buyers, rumour has it that a patient 'bled out' in this vehicle...not while I owned it obviously). If you are already looking for this kind of vehicle, then you probably know what your looking for. This thing is ready to drive anywhere. I'm selling because we are getting a vehicle paid for from the Company, so I won't have to buy gas anymore!! There are a few blemishes, including a cracked piece of cabinet plastic, and a missing piece as well. I removed one of the interior ceiling lights to make room for tall equipment. The headliner at the front of the windshield keeps rolling down, so I keep tucking it up there. Please bid very high to make your friends jealous! Vehicle is White under the vinyl graphics, but I would suggest replacing only the logo portion with new graphics (which any installer could do) since the workmanship here is awesome! You could even contact the graphics provider for exact logo measurements to make your own or have them re-create your logo in the same space. http://edwardsideas.com/
