Vehicle Detail

I have decided to sell my 2009 Nissan GT-R Premium, which I personally purchased brand spanking new from the Nissan dealer at a hefty premium price when they were first made available the day after it was unloaded and put in the showroom. Nobody else even so much as test drove it. I have every single piece of paperwork the car came with, the window sticker, all manuals, all mailings that Nissan sent out including the collector's booklet, etc. This is the top of the line premium model with all options including touchscreen talking navigation with the huge display screen, dual power heated seats and leather. It also has the factory integrated i-phone and i-pod connector and the custom floor mats. And, of course, it comes with both factory keys/remotes. The car is black on black with the special darker GT-R wheels. Absolutely the best combination. I originally ordered the silver and when I went to get it, this one was on the showroom floor. There was no comparison as this car was made to be black, and I begged for the opportunity to get it instead! It is 100% stock. Nothing has been added to, taken off or otherwise modified. Of great importance is that I have not had the Nissan recall performed that removes launch control. It is a free recall and they will do it if you take it in, but they are supposed to do it even if you don't want them to. Anyway, I have also never launched it. There is a way you can verify that, according to the dealer, but I don't know how. Other than the 5 or so factory test miles that it arrived at the dealership with, it has been adult-driven by myself and I have personally put every mile on the car and guarantee/warranty that it was never launched. It has never been tracked. It has never been raced. It has the original factory tires on it and they are still like new. I will say the car is 99% perfect everywhere because the pickiest person might find the smallest thing or two not perfect with it. It is truly in beautiful, excellent, original condition all the way around and is super clean. The engine compartment and trunk areas are as also as new and perfect. I didn't take any pics of those, but if you want some, let me know. Any spots on the driveway in the photos have nothing to do with the GT-R as it was only placed there for the photo shoot this past weekend. There is no way you or anyone could be disappointed with this car. Here are a few very important things you should consider about my car that can almost certainly not be said about the others you may see for sale: *It has always been kept covered in a temperature controlled garage. I would estimate it has spent well under 1000 hours of its life even spent outdoors! All of the trim, the rubber seals, etc.. are as new. The door jambs and areas under the trunk and hood areas are factory fresh. You can see in one of the pictures how all of the factory stickers in the driver's door jamb area are still as they were when the car was made. Try to find that in another one of these for sale! *Of the 6,000 miles on it, 2,000 of them were on a roundtrip from my garage at my home in Maryland to my garage in my Florida vacation house. Many of the remaining miles are from other 400 or so mile roundtrips I went on. *It has never been rained on. It has never been snowed on. *It has never been washed in anything other than warm water, by hand, by myself. The finish looks shiny and as new and It has NEVER BEEN BUFFED WAXED OR POLISHED. It never needed and still does not need to be. Why should you care about this? Because on a black finish, waxing and polishing leaves swirl marks in the finish, which accumulate and detract from the finish. *It has never been professionally detailed, refurbished or anything like that inside, because it has never been allowed to get dirty! All of the carpets and fabrics are as new because they have been kept that way. The car has never been eaten in. I am not a smoker but in any case, it has been smoked in or had anyone who smoked even ride in it. I do not own any pets, but for those of you who may want to know, there has never been any animal inside the car. I have no kids and nobody has ever been in either back seat. *It has never been in any type of accident. It has never had any body or paint or other repair work done to it. *It has never had anything ever wrong with it. Never ever. Nothing. It is and has been mechanically perfect and flawless since day one! It doen't burn, drip or leak anything. It has never had a fuse pulled from it and never had the battery disconnected or even jump started. *This car is not now nor has it ever been in the hands of any broker or used car dealer. Think about those cars that go from dealer to dealer or auction...everyone who touches the car is apt to drive it crazy fast and without care since it is not theirs. Why warm it up? Why not redline it? They put a dealer tag on it and abuse it for a few weeks or whatever and then flip it. Not my car. Nobody has ever driven it. *This car has been my baby and treated accordingly. I have owned many high end cars throughout the years and treated them all well, but this was the one I planned to keep forever. But plans change, and I don't drive her much anymore and my life is now such that this is something I no longer feel I need. So, if you are in the market for a GT-R and don't want to shell out $100,000 or more for a brand new one, mine is the next best thing. And yes, I know you can find one out there for a few thousand dollars less than what mine will cost you, but it will have a lot more miles on it, it will be reconditioned and you won't be buying it from the hands of the original owner. Remember that depreciation at the mid-supercar level is roughly 50 cents/mile, so a car with another 10,000 or 20,000 miles, even if it is as perfect as mine is, with a perfect title and no history of any damage whatsoever is still worth $5,000 to $10,000 less...both retail, trade-in and dealer wholesale. Heck, there is one listed on ebay with an accident history and 50,000 miles and it is up to $50,000 and will probably sell for a lot more than that. Bottom line - If you want the cheapest GT-R, it isn't going to be this one. If you don't care or want to just gamble on how the car was taken care of for the first few years of its life or if you don't care about original paint and body panels and whether parts have been taken off and reassembled, you can save yourself some money by buying someone else's GT-R. If you want the nicest GT-R, it is this one, but it costs a little more than the average and below average examples. But remember that the premium doesn't disappear...pristine vehicles will always be worth more than there mediocre counterparts. Dealer wholesale for my GT-R, directly from the Manheim Market Report, is $69,868. That is the average of what dealers are paying at auction for 2009 GT-R's in above average condition with mileage like mine. Average condition cars with a lot more mileage still bring $64,000. And you have to be a dealer to even attend, much less buy at a dealer auction. And then there are premiums and transport charges added on. I have been on eBay for a long time...over a dozen years...and my feedback is and always has been 100% perfect. I have bought and sold other vehicles I have owned during that time without any problems, including a Lamborghini, a Ferrari, a Porsche and a Jaguar, to name a few. I am not a dealer, I just love cars and used to always have a few nice ones in my collection. You are welcome to come see the car in person or to have it checked out/inspected, but I am not interested in joyriders. Any questions, feel free to shoot me an email. Feel free to make me a reasonable offer, but this is as nice and low mileage an example of a 100% stock, unabused, adult driven GT-R as you will find. Keep in mind that this isn't a distress sale. ******************************************************************************************************** I may be interested in a partial trade involving a Hummer H2 or H3, a Jeep or a 1963 to 1972 Corvette, a 1997 or newer Corvette convertible, a Viper, or a 60's or early 70's muscle car ... but no projects or junk or anything worth over $30k or thereabouts. ******************************************************************************************************** You can pay me in any reasonable manner, but if you don't pay in cash, you aren't going to get the car or the title until the funds have irrevocably cleared to my satisfaction. You will need to provide me with your full contact information and pay a deposit of $1000 via paypal within 24 hours and the balance within one week. If you need more time for either of these things, please contact me ahead of time to discuss alternate arrangements. I am a very reasonable person, but please don't waste my time or yours. If you do not follow through after you 'buy it', you will be liable for any and all expenses I have incurred as a result, including that for my time! I will assist with getting the vehicle to your shipper and/or making it available, but you will be paying the cost if you need it shipped. I can also drive the car to you if you are within a reasonable distance. Also, I will only hold the car for you to come fly /drive here to see it if we agree on a price first and you provide a deposit. The car is as good as I claim it to be. The only two uncertainties are whether or not you want a top shelf GT-R and how much you are willing to pay. Once we get past those, it should be a simple transaction. Don't get me wrong, you can come see it without putting a deposit on it, but I will not put the listing on hold in the interim.
