Vehicle Detail
You are looking at my 1985 Chevy k20 2500 custon deluxe 3/4 ton 4x4i have owned this truck since 2006. Before I bought it it had a cab off restoration done to it. It now isn't in perfect shape but looks pretty good. It has a manual trans that is. 3 speed with creeper or what some call a 4 speed. The body is still in pretty nice shape but has started rusting in spots. The hood has no rust but does have about 4 small dents across the front and has the clear coat comming off. The core support is in good shape. The cab has good rockers and floor but has some surface rust on the cab corners and some rust through on the back of the cab. The doors are in good shape. The drivers door has some scrapes. The bed is in nice shape and has a built in bumper step that looks nice. It also has a hidden gooseneck hitch in it. Also has headache rack. The bed is a nice heave diamond plate. Not a cheap one. Also has steak pockets. I have treated side rails for it. The inside of the cab is ok. The dash has cracks and the seat has tears. The floor has a nice 1 piece rubber Matt with padding. Little dirty. It has a nice detatchable face jvc cd player. Has a Crome b&m shifter shaft and handle. Has manual locks that work and manual windows that are tinted. The drivers side has a bent track. Has factory air that I recharged 2 years ago and worked great until last summer. Now it don't get cold. Heat works great. Has dual tanks but the drivers tank leaks at the seam and the guage doesn't work on that tank. Passenger tank is good and the guage works. The transfer switch works good. The tires are less than half trade and are on ford 8lug rims. I put stainless lug nuts and center caps on it so I dint have to worry about them rusting. I have 200.00 in the lug nuts alone. The rear spring were mew in 05 and are still nice. I have hauled 550 gallons of water on it easy. The shocks are shot and need replaced. The brakes have been replaced in the last couple of years with only a few thousand miles on them. I had replaced the front calipers rotors and pads. The rear has the heavy duty drums with newer shoes and pistons. The steering has play in it but I was used to driving it that way. The ball joints could be replaced but not to bad. Does leak power steering fluid out of the box. Had to add some every couple of months. The windshield does have a crack above the window tint strip but it has been that way since I got it. Has a rear slider window. The motor runs but not great. Was supposed to be rebuilt with 10,000 miles on it when I got it. I have put another 15,000 on it since I've had it. I had the rotor button come loose and made a mess in the top of the distributor. I put a new cap and button on and cleaned the rotor. Since then I can't get it back in time perfect. It eather gets where its hard to start after it gets warm or it keeps wanting to run the other way. Someone else may be better at it then me. I have drove it this way for over a year. The engine also leaks some oil but I don't believe it burns it. No noises in it. It had a ton of power before and sounded great. It does have headers with 2 new stainless mufflers with new tail pipes running out both sides of the back behind the wheels. Looks nice and sounds nice. The motor also has elelbrock intake carb and filter. This has been my farm truck and still would of been if I could get the hole family in it. I moved up to a bigger truck is the only reason selling it. I have used it the way it is for several years and have taken it around the state. Other than it hard to start I would still take it on a trip. This truck will be sold as-is. I would recommend you come take a look at it and judge the condition for yourself. As it is no show truck but I do get comments on it everywhere I go. I require 250.00 deposit within 24 hours by PayPal. If you don't have PayPal we can work something out. Again as-is. just noticed that there is a drip spot on the floor from the clutch but the pedal still feels good, there is also paint chipped off the front of the doors from rubbing the fender some. sorry for it being dirty in the picture but it was a farm truck, never mud runned. I had someone ask about the frame so I looked into it. It looks good from the outside but the back end does have a good bit but still feels solid. There is a cross support that does have rust holes in it. The tank straps and brackets have a lot of rust on them and could be replaced. Included is a nice full size spare tire. The jack and crank are in the hood where the factory mounts are. Thanks for looking.
