You are bidding on our 1996 Ford Escort. The car has been in the family since new. My father in laws brother bought it new, sold it to my father in law, then to my daughter, and now us. The car has 119,525 miles. All four tires were new in early 2011. The car needs nothing right now, ready to go. We just returned from a trip to Green Bay last month in it. The muffler system was replaced about 2 years ago form the engine to the back of the car. It has cruise control that works. The pictures should show the interior to be excellent. There are no tears or holes. The spare is a donut type located inside under the cargo area mat. The cargo area also has the screen to hide what is back there. The gas gauge works only when the tank gets to 1/4. When it is anywhere between 1/4 and full it is not reliable. We reset the odometer every time we fill it up to give us an idea what the fuel level is. When it gets down to 1/4 and below it is right. It has a cassette player plus the AM/FM radio. You will notice the rust above the rear wheels on both sides. The pictures will show condition. The bumpers while whole and not damaged are showing signs of paint wear. They are either a rubber, fiberglass, or plastic. You are welcome to come look. The car is located in St. Peter, Minnesota, about 70 miles southwest of the cities.
