It could be outstanding with a little effort or a solid start to do a frame-off on. The underneath is clean! It gets the looks! I stop for fuel at the station and people come to talk about it and take pictures. What's really great is when my big lab sits in the pax seat and people all look to see if he's the one driving!! I have had this for about 6 years as a weekend and around town ride. I have never had it Off-Road. I fully believe the Australian use was only as a farm truck with no heavy Off-Road use either. I haven't used it much due to other projects so it's time to let someone else enjoy it. It's truely a fun vehicle to drive around, except maybe in a fast food drive thru! I just changed the rear engine seal and there are now NO leaks! The engine has NEW glow plugs, starts easily and has NO blow-by. The motor has great oil pressure. The 4 speed allows easy cruising at 70-75. All glass is good. The original color was the baby poop yellow, repainted in Ford Mustang Screaming Yellow. There are just a couple of slight rust spot areas at the roof-top seam. Contact me with your email for any other photos. The mileage listed is 99,999 due to the age and odometer could have turned over. As I bought it imported from Australia, it originally had a Kph odometer with 81,999km (51,249 miles), It now has a used gauge set with miles beginning at 57,231. Currently the Fuel and temp gauge does not work but gauges including fully refurbished ones are available on Ebay. Other than that it needs absolutely nothing to start enjoying it. If it doesn't go soon, then I may go ahead and have the gauges redone before re-listing. I have never listed it on Ebay before. It is available for sale locally so it may be pulled without any notice. All engine and mechanical parts are easy to obtain. I will include a number of repair manuals and spare parts. The HJ45 currently has the rear brakes converted to disc, I will include conversion hubs to do the front conversion to 4 wheel disc.
