Up for auction is a 4x4 1988.5 Suzuki Samurai. This Samurai is completely re-done. The pictures were taken in late fall, it was put in a garage, and hasn't been driven since. I started it every couple of weeks. I have over a year into this build, countless amount of hours, and money into it. It has a new paint job, which is the original color. There is absolutely no rust at all. New Best Top. New carpet kit. New bumper and end caps. Alpine CD player. All new tune-up. 5 brand new BFG all-terains. New battery. Seats were professionaly re-upholstered. The seats and all the interior trim were pulled from a 95. New brakes and rotors all the way around. Newer exhaust. When I bought this Samurai, I bought it off of a person who had it in a garage since 1999. From what he told me, the miles are all original. It has AC and blows cold. There are no problems at all with this vehicle, except the gas gauge does not work. Everything is all original, but I did have to put trail tough shackles on it. I put Diamond Plate on the rocker panels because I thought it looked better, and the plastic that is normally there is a rust trap. As you see in the pictures, the rockers are 100% solid. The tires I put on it are 215 which is 1 size bigger than stock. I put the shackles on, which give it about an inch of lift so the tires don't rub when you turn. Along the way of the build, I found a lot of OEM factory add ons that I put on such as turn signal, tail light, and headlight guards,and metal window visors. I know I am forgetting a lot of what I did, but please ask questions. I built this vehicle but then realized it was too nice to take off-roading.
