This truck is VERY near completion... it is currently titled, insured and fully drivable. Many parts are not mounted up due to small bits of body work (on the fenders) and waiting for the new wheels. I dont want to sell it, but need to come up with $$$ for a house. I picked up this truck less than 2 years ago. The previous gentleman I bought it from restored from frame up. It has a '54 frame, with some '51 parts. (Front end is a '51, bed is '54). Learned this when I purchased the whole new bed from Mar-K. 350 Edelbrock v8 - excellent running condition. (Stored indoors in my heated shop) 350 Auto Turbo Trans. - engine has less than 10,000 miles on it since in the truck 12 Bolt rear end. Power Steering Lowered suspension (not sure what this is off of) Brand new bed from Mar-K, with Roll pan and bed-mounted gas tank, and trick stainless hardware! Very nice. Smooth Rear tailgate with Polished Stainless Steel hidden gate latch! LED Taillights & Turn signals brand new, installed and working Stainless braided turn signal wire looms. Sharp & clean! New Steering column & gauges (mounted front bottom of dash) Custom Fabricated Stereo mounted in-dash (with new Pioneer CD/stereo system - IPOD/mp3) - you'll notice I had welding and dash work done to articulate the stereo to an attractive eye-level so the new deck would not face up at a steep angle. Aluminum gas tank mounted under the bed New rear window glass & rubber (not installed yet) New door moulding rubber (not installed yet) New Running boards (in box, not mounted yet) Fenders obviously sitting in the bed, ready to be mounted too. Body in very good condition, with shaved door handles. All steel looks to have been cleaned up, prepped and painted black (entire floor of cab & frame) New(er) bench seat Glove box (new, not installed yet) Headliner (new, not installed yet) Comes with a big roll of FatMat... sound, vibration and heat insulating - ready to go in now. Trim pieces, moulding, rubber seals... a bunch.. again, not yet installed Have purchased Rally style wheels.. come with it too, havent mounted those yet either For the most part, just some time is needed to reinstall parts... most of everything is there, just some time putting it all together. I've noticed 1 or 2 small leaks here and there on occasion... common, but easy to fix when spotted. It is Street legal and ready to drive as-is though. Title is good and In-hand! I was building this as a daily driver, to be rat rod (ded). I do vehicle graphics and wraps and had been working on an old-school gas station design that would have been a 100% vehicle wrap... get the patina look with protection and a matte finish... which is great for older vehicles like this. Deadens the sound and makes it feel and sound smoother. I will do a wrap for $2000 on top of the final sales price if you want it. 100% removable and will not hurt any of the metal, but will protect it and quiet the ride altogether too.
