Selling a 1940 Ford Deluxe coupe project car. This would be a good car for anyone with the ambition to build a nice steel bodied hotrod. The original engine, transmission and running gear are long gone but there is a decent body and frame. The car is not perfect so there are some dents and dings but nothing that a good bodyman can't fix. It will need a patch panel along the bottom of each rear quarter panel. There is a rust hole in the trunk floor. Seat is gone as is the guage cluster but door and window knobs are there. Included is a new front grille from Bob Drake. Because the original running gear is gone, the Ford body and frame are presently resting on another chassis which allows me to move the car around. That chassis will not be part of the auction therefore I would recommend that the buyer bring a flat car trailer or a transport truck with a flatbed so that the car can be loaded onto it. I do have an A-frame hoist to assist in that if needed. I presently do not have a title for this car but can help acquire one if needed. I can apply for a Montana title but it may take our Department of Motor Vehicles one to three months to issue a new one. Any questions call 406-698-2580 anytime. Might consider trades.
