Vehicle Detail

1972 Buick GS 350 Up for sale is an authentic 1972 Buick GS 350. I bought the car last year from the original family owner. The original owner bought the car on March 23, 1972 (I have the original New Vehicle Warrenty card) from Peacock Buick in Falls Church Virginia. The original owner passed away in 1999 and left the car to his brother from whom I bought the car from last year. The 72 GS has only been driven 2K miles during the last 13 years. Since buying the car, I have only driven the car 100 miles due to the car being stored in my Mother's garage which is 25 miles from my house. With this said, I would rather have the car bought by a person who can drive and enjoy the car more than I have. Furthermore, the proceeds of this car will be going towards a college tuition fund for my children. 1972 GS 350 Production = 5,896 Standard equipment: * Duel Exhaust, Functional duel hood scoops, Heavy Duty Springs, shocks and stabilzer bar, Wide bright rocker moldings, Wheelhouse moldings, GS Monograms on fenders and trunk lid, 350 Engine with 4BBL. Options: Power steering, factory air (currently not working but all intact) shoulder restraining belts, day/night mirror, Nice 14 x 6 chrome rally wheels, remote driver mirror, deluxe interior with bucket seats and floor shifter console, trunk light. Body: The car is a 15 FOOTER. The body work and paint was completed by MAACO in the late 1990's. As mentioned, the car is a nice 15 footer in regards to paint and bodywork; the body shows waves and the paint does not show high depth as you would see with show cars. If you are looking for a show car, this car is not it...yes, I am very fussy and am being very honest. * Quarter Panels appear to have been patched with metal but surprisinlgy has held up very well (no bubbles) * Lower fenders appear to have been fixed * The trunk floor is very solid * The floors and frame do not appear to have any rust * The battery tray is rusted along with the passenger side front wheel well * Front and rear bumpers are straight but will need rechroming (see pics) * New outside door handles * Two new GS emblems come with car Engine: Has 116,342 miles. Runs and sounds very good. Starts right up every time. * The following items are new: Battery, starter solinoid, valve cover gaskets, PS box seals, and aircleaner foams; previous owner replaced the water pump and engine mount. * Will need a spring for the choke (currenly I have the choke opened). * Has an oil leak but more noticable when its hot. * I have not tuned the engine but have recently changed the oil Interior: * Interior looks very nice. New bucket seats with foams, inside door handles and arm rest pads. * Nice Dash looks great with no cracks * Nice rear seat * Aftermarket radio but original AM radio is included with sale * Headliner is perfect except one inch rip on passenger side * Console is very nice with good chrome * Floor carpet is a little worn on the back hump and the carpet on the driver door panel has a ball size defect (see pic) Tires: Nice white lettering tires with plenty of tread left. *******LOW RESERVE******** I am a private seller and the car has a clean title and is SOLD IN AS IS CONDITION. Please do not bid on the car unless you can follow through with purchase. Please review the terms of sale before bidding on car. Winning Bidder pays non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 (US FUNDS) within 2 days of auction end. Balance of sale to be paid by cash or certified bank check at time of pickup. Shipping is sole responsibility of buyer. Car must be picked up or delivered within 7 days of auction close. If car is being delivered, then it must be paid in full and cleared my account before car is picked up by transporter. Car can be inspected before auction ends or third party can be hired to come look at the vehicle. I can be contacted at 703-753-1241. Thanks much and happy bidding! On Feb-14-12 at 18:00:03 PST, seller added the following information: Hi Everyone...I mistyped the VIN! The VIN is 4G37K2G142011. On Feb-14-12 at 18:54:57 PST, seller added the following information: I can not add additional pictures since I already have 24 pictures, therefore, if you would like more pictures of the underside, lower rear qaurters, and VIN plate, please send me a message with your email address and I will send you the pics. Also, the fifth character of the VIN was mistyped...I typed a "J" instead of a "K". Also, I will be adding the following parts: * New trunk weatherstripping * New Right side weatherstripping * New Left side weatherstripping * Additional Buick chrome wheel and tire
