1972 Suncoupe project. California car, never seen salt. Quarters are very nice. A couple small pin holes behind the passenger rear tire. Doors are like NOS. primed in Epoxy. Floors are very solid except for some swelling on the passenger toeboard. Mainly just surface rust. Trunk floor has been replaced with another GM floor from a solid car many years ago before I had the car. The last 4 inches were not replaced on the sides and are rotted. The quarter drop-offs are nice Front fenders are solid except for lower rears. I have lower front fenders cut from another solid set of fenders. Core support is rotted under battery (very typical for all skylarks) Solid inner fender wells. Decklid is rust-free. Everything else is very solid. Roof, rear window, base of dash, everything... Non-AC car (rare for a buick). I was going to make a GS-X clone. I do not have the flat hood for the car. I have a GS hood which I am selling on another auction (not included with car). Please see my other auctions for many other skylark and GS parts. Rechromed bumpers. Front is very nice, Rear one has a small flaw where the chrome lifted (dime-sized spot). No dings. Nice GS grill. Bucket seats for recover. Nice springs and bases. Rear seat is nice. Has three door panels that were resprayed black. I have a nice set of white ones on my other auctions(not included with car). Perfect black non-AC dashpad. Another nice set of gauges and wire harnesses included to make the car perfect. All keys are there for all the locks. Brakes still are up (drum brakes). All suncoupe roof parts are in tact. The vinyl has some tears but not totally wasted. There are people on V8Buick.com that can redo these roofs. All glass is good. Have a good windshield that comes with car. No console. I have consoles on my other auctions. Has a decent set of 15" buick rallys. Has a numbers matching 1972 455 with 30,000 original miles. (the car was originally a 350). Nice motor (Carb to pan) (ran great when pulled from other car) Has a 200r4 4-speed auto OD trans that needs rebuilt for a core. I also have very nice extra sets of window and rain gutter stainless that go with the car. I have stored this car indoors for 10 years after it came from California.
