I am selling my 2002 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4. It has about 160,000 miles on it. The truck has only one problem it needs a new transmission or the one in it needs rebuilt. I do not have the time to work on it. Other than the transmission, the truck is in good condition. The engine starts and runs good. The oil was changed every 300 miles. I recently replaced the rear suspension (Shocks & Springs), just put on new front wheel bearings. The brakes were replaced 15,000 miles ago with vented disk brakes. The vehicle has never been wrecked. It has a clean carfax report. The body is nice. There is one ding on the passenger side door and on the liftgate there two cracks on a molding piece. The tires were new 20,000 miles ago and are still in nice shape with alot of tread left. They also come with road hazzard from Firestone. The interior in clean. There are no rips or tears anywhere. Non smoker vehicle. It has a Pioneer DVD/CD touchscreen with XM & HD Radio. All speakers work great, no blowouts. The vehicle, upon pickup will need towed, it cannot be driven as the transmission pan is off. Overall, this would be an excellent vehicle for someone that can fix the transmission. KBB has a value on this truck at $5800 in good condition.
