Vehicle Detail
Up for grabs with a LOW RESERVE is my 1967 Dodge Dart. Car was taken as a partial payment on another vehicle I sold locally. The restoration process on this vehicle was started not long ago. Most of the time consuming hard work is done. I will give you the "good" the "not so bad" and the "bad" before you place your bids. Any questions feel free to email. Bid with confidence and good luck. The Good: Hard to find mopar classic. Historically not many left. Production numbers for this year and registered numbers of vehicles left show that less than ONE THIRD of these vehicles still exist. Vehicle has NEW floors. New sheet metal work done. Vehicle has NEW trunk. New sheet metal work done. Vehicle has NEW tires, NEW SUSPENSION all around and Cragar Rims. Tranny in great shape and small 8 1/4 bolt rear very well. Vehicle has NEW oil pump, fuel pump and REBUILT carburetor. Vehicle has LOW RESERVE. Good start for the hobbyist, enthusiast, or restorer. Vehicle's VALUE will only RISE when the 2013 Dart is introduced. Great perspective for the investor. The "NOT SO BAD" INTERIOR: All there but leather is faded. There are NO tears and NO springs popping out. Clean but faded. CHROME WORK: Faded and foggy. I do have a NEW Chrome Grill and other New Chrome pieces that is included. I do NOT have the chrome moldings that go around the Front windshield. Those would need to be purchased. BODY: Sports a "Ratrod" flat black look. There are signs of bubbling in 2 areas specifically behind rear quarters. Not bad for a 45 year old car and still very fixable. Overall body is not too bad. The front right fender skin will need to be replaced as it looks like it was dented at some point and repaired and does not align properly with the hood.Cosmetically the car looks great and still has plenty of life. The "BAD": Engine is NOT in running condition. Has BAD bearings and needs to be REBUILT or REPLACED. Engine is a slant 6.
