Along with the new suspension, I had the car professionally detailed and new ceramic brake pads put on. The tires have about 8000 miles on them and they were just rotated along with a fresh oil change a few weeks ago. Other than that I have never had to take this to a mechanic unless it was for an oil change. It has the 6 disc premium sound system in it, but the cd player doesn’t work. However, I do have an aftermarket iphone/ipod jack installed. I have lived in southern California for most of the car’s life. I have used it to drive back and forth between Nebraska and California 6 or 7 times since I bought it in 2005. The miles are basically all freeway miles, which is why it has maintained its power all these years. I must admit I haven’t driven another stock mustang gt that had more than 20,000 miles on it that has as much power as this one. I have gone through 3 batteries over the years, which is par for the course. If I had it my way I would keep it forever, but my job requires me to move overseas, so it makes more sense to sell it before I move.
