1988 Pontiac Fiero GT Near Mint with 32K Miles $7,900 OBO This is a very rare and collectable 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT with T-Tops. This car is in very good condition and was garage kept as a show car for many years. There are very few light scratches in the paint and minimal amount of dry rot on the tires and door to window molding strips. The driver side seat recliner lever is missing and the cover is damaged. I am the second owner of the car. I have inspected the car thoroughly and all of the body panels have the original White sticker with the VIN number on them. To my knowledge this car has never been in an accident considering the condition of the paint and that all of the body panels have matching VIN stickers. The car has just over 33,000 original miles. ESPECIALLY WITH T-TOPS I have installed a new alternator and accessory belt. I installed a new thermostat and put new anti freeze in. All fluids are clean. Standard features are: 2.8 V6 4 wheel disc brakes Diamond spoke wheels Tilt Leather wrapped steering wheel Power windows Power deckled release Options include: Automatic Spoiler 1SA Option Package Air Conditioning Vanity Visor Cruise Control Power Door Locks Power Mirrors T-TOPS (VERY RARE) Aftermarket Options Floor Mats Functional Air Ducts to help keep the car running cooler (easy to remove if you would like) CD Player – The CD player does work, but the AM/FM does not work. I left it alone in case someone wanted to replace it with an original. Aftermarket Alarm with 1 Keypad When the car was originally purchased, the original wheels where boxed up and stored. Center line wheels were installed to give the car the “Lamborghini look”. As you can imagine the factory wheels are in near perfect condition from being in storage. NO CURB RASH. I put the factory rims back on the car because I personally like them better. If you are interested in buying the car I will give you the 4 center line wheels for FREE. The tires are like new and have plenty of tread on them. They do have a very minimal amount of dry rot. The tires are all Michelin. Any fluid or exhaust leaks. – Absolutely no fluid leaks at all on motor or trans 2. Any mechanical or electrical issues. – There are no known mechanical or electrical problems. Drive belt was not replaced but it shows no signs of dry rot. 3. Do all power options work properly (i.e. windows, locks, cruise, mirrors, headlights, etc). – All lights work. The right headlight motor is a second slower than the left from not being used very often. All electrical components work including trunk lights. As included in the action description the CD player works but the AM/FM portion does not. The antenna is working properly but the radio does need to be replaced. I didn’t want to replace it before auction because I thought someone may want to replace it with the original factory once they owned it. 4. Any cracks, chips, or scratches in windshield or windows. – There are light scratches in the driver’s side window and there is one small repairable chip on the passenger side of the windshield near the sun visor. Scratches are light in the driver’s side window that a camera will not pick them up but I wanted to be as detailed as possible. 5. Any rips, tears, fraying, cracks, chips or sags in upholstery, dash, and headliner. – The upholstery, dash, and headliner are in perfect condition. 6. Any evidence of rust on underbody, cradle, suspension, exhaust, trunk. Could you post or send me pictures to verify? Wheel wells appear to have been undercoated, yes/no? – There are no spots of body rust at all on the undercarriage. There is light rust on the front cross member bracket and on the catalytic converter heat-shield only. Exhaust is in great condition. Wheel wells are NOT undercoated. Please see additional photos on the Flickr link. 7. Do engine and transmission run and shift smoothly. – The engine and transmission operate as they should. 8. Has air conditioning been upgraded and blow cold. – The Air Conditioning is still R12 and it is very cold. 9. Do TTops fit properly, not leak, and have no missing trim parts. – Both T-Tops lock and unlock properly. No pieces of trim are missing. The car has always been stored inside. I have washed the car and have never seen any evidence of leaks. There are no water stains on either seat from previous leaks. I have not taken the T-Tops out of to car due to winter weather. 10. Are original manuals included. Do you have original floor mats. Is a car cover included. – No manual, and no car cover. There are floor mats but they are not the original. 11. Why are you selling this gorgeous looking collector car. – I have only owned the car for six and a half months. I already have two corvettes (C5 and C4) and several other vehicles. I feel that the quality and condition of this car is very rare. I am not selling this car for any other reason but that I would like to use some of the proceeds from the sale toward an extensive garage upgrade taking place at my residence. 12. Again, this car 23yrs old. There is no warranty or extended warranty implied. In addition this is not a contract. I have answered every question to the best of my ability and taken several detailed pictures. I understand because of the rarity of the vehicle that there is a huge volume of questions. I have no problems answering any questions you may have before this auction is over.
