Vehicle Detail

This 1968 Camaro's owner has too many other projects this one is gonna go. As you can see from the pictures most of the hard work (body) is done. This one is set up for a power glide, it has the back seat in good condition but no front seats or head liner. The door panels are all original and are nice. The door hinges have been removed, striped, cleaned, etched, new bushing and pins installed repainted and reinstalled. The floor pan is original and in very good shape. Both quarter panels were replaced with full GM panels, new outer wheel housings were also installed. The drivers side fender is a new GM part the primer is scratched but not damaged. Both doors were reskinned with new Goodmarks skins and inside of the doors was etched, primed and sealed. The passenger side fender is a new Goodmark piece, the core support was also replaced with a new Goodmark piece. The front sub frame was removed cleaned, painted then reinstalled. If you look close at the sub frame picture you can still see the factory markings on the original firewall (upper left corner). This is a non power brake four wheel drum car but it does have power steering. The dash and console are in really nice condition all though the console will need painted black, the dash pad is a new after market piece. All the glass is in the car and in good shape, the windshield is a new one. The factory seat belts are there including the shoulder straps, door and trunks locks, wiring harness, plus misc other parts. The trunk floor is in good shape with some surface rust only. But both inner wheel wells have rust and need repaired (where all these cars rust) see pictures. The rockers look a lot worse in the pictures than they are, they are pretty solid with a few 4 or 5 small (none large than 3/8") rust holes. The tail light panel has been replaced with a new GM part. Both upper and lower valances are used GM pieces and are in good condition. As you can see she is setting on GM rally wheels with no center caps or trim rings. I know he has done more to this car but not enough room to list it all. As always the owner is responsible for paying and arranging the shipping and it is sold as is. There is a $500.00 deposit due with in 24 hours of the completion of the auction through pay pal. Thanks for looking now let the bidding began.
