Up for auction I have my 1990 Chev short box pick up truck. It does need a bit of work to be road worthy. I have had it for 7 years and was originally my uncle's truck. He bought it new. He had it undercoated when new and oil sprayed up untill 9 years ago. The box has the extent of the rust, the rest is in great shape for its age. There are a few minor dings. The truck was involved in a front end collision about 8 years ago. There was no frame damage but they wrote the truck off. My uncle spent around $7,000.00 to repair the truck. It is your basic pick up. 4.3 V6, 400 automatic transmission, P.S., P.B., rear wheel ABS. Front disc brakes. It has the heavy duty spring package in the rear from when the truck was new. It will carry more than half a ton. The bed liner has been in the truck since new. I took it off when I got it to look at the box bed and it was like new except for some surface rust. It runs and drives well. The interior is good, nice seat. Radio does not work. Could also use new shocks, it is bouncy. Rally wheels with chrome rings. I stopped driving the truck in May when the steel brake line to the rear brakes rusted out. Since then the left front steel line rusted out. Both easy fixes. The exhaust has a leak ahead of the cat. converter. This would be a great winter project. Box side panels are fairly cheap or you can get a southern rust free box for under $700.00. I have all the paper for most of the work done to the truck as well as the owners manual with GM Total service card. The winning bidder is responsible for getting truck and will have to tow the truck home. I can assist in loading. This truck is sold as is. I have a car dolly and can take truck to highest bidder if you are in Southern Ontario for a reasonable fee. The pick up is located between London and Chatham Ontario.
