The Chang Jiang CJ750 is a Chinese copy of the Russian M72 which is, in turn, a copy of the BMW R71. 1986 was the year that 12 volt electrics, electric starters and reverse gears were introduced to the model, and this one has all three. The odometer shows 301 miles. Judging by the condition of the bike, that is probably correct. It is in excellent shape and it runs and rides great. It shifts through all the gears smoothly. Reverse gear is working. All of the electrics work except for the headlight and horn. The left handlebar switch that controls the headlight and horn looks to be missing a part of it, so that is likely where the problem lies.
