Nice frame-up restoration repainted in original color with exceptional chrome including wheels, fenders, mufflers, etc. Serial tag 5/70. Frame: CB750-1036419. Engine: CB750E-1036218. Like new tires. Gas cap has rust freckles as do some small chrome parts like steering head bolt. Tank perfect outside. Needs internal coating but this can be postponed because small, unobtrusive fuel filters have been added. Engine cases nice, no damage, some discoloration (better than typical of the age). Seat has a small tear on top that has been nicely repaired with a color-matching vinyl repair (you have to look close). The left muffler has a barely noticeable patch at the low spot where condensation collects when on the side stand. Engine cases have some discoloration (not corrosion) typical of an old bike always kept inside out of the weather. Needs a thorough clean and polish which will really make it pop, especially with the good chrome and paint (almost no exterior clean-up was done before taking photos). Overall condition is very nice. Not what I would call "museum quality", but definitely pretty and looks near perfect from just a few feet away. Carbs were recently rebuilt so she starts, runs, and idles nice and smoothe. Ready to ride and everything works. On Jan-31-12 at 19:26:14 PST, seller added the following information: All 4 pipes are HM300s and the left two have 1” wide patches just behind where the header joins. One pipe has a 3/16” crack at the extreme tip. The left side cover has some corrosive pitting on the bottom and a bevel. Don’t know if that bevel is as-cast by Honda or road rash. No cracks or repairs. Needs a very thorough deep-buffing to get rid of scratches and discoloration. Looks like someone used sand-paper around the HONDA logo but that should polish out. Two self-proclaimed "experts" say carbs and air box are not 1970 ('72?). Georgia does not require a title document for old vehicles and it does not have one. Georgia registration expired three years ago when owner passed away. Widow looking for registration but don't count on it. State of GA can confirm registration. We can provide notarized bill of sale. On Feb-01-12 at 07:23:47 PST, seller added the following information: A CB-750 expert says mirrors are same ones as 1969 sandcast (two stamps on back) and are worth around $300. Insurance papers found.
