NO RESERVE 1964 galaxie 500 xl, 2 door fastback frame off rest-o-mod/restoration frame has been stripped, sand blasted, primered and undercoated every bolt, washer, nut, seal, gasket, cotter pins, bushings are new rebuilt and modified original rearend, all new bearings, seals, gaskets, gears, shims, posi with 327 gears new rear leaf springs(5 leaf pack) lowered 3" new front coil springs lowered 3" upper and lower a-arms sand blasted and painted black new a-arm bushing new front and rear disc brake kits new power booster, master cylinder and proportional valve(disc/disc) new brake lines front ,back and center new fuel lines from tank to engine new fuel tank with straps(not installed) new body mounting rubber new front and rear shocks new custom drivestaff with new u-joints rebuilt 1964 galaxie big block top loader(wide ratio) 4 speed new HD clutch, HD pressure plate, t/o bearing new bellhousing and good used backing plate new motor mounts and transmission mount engine block says 66' 427,but it is a 390 cid 2 bolt main/block has been .060 over(all machine work done by BACA machine shop in ssf,ca.) new kieth black piston and rings(10.3.1 ratio) new main, rod, cam bearings new rods and rod bolts two step hotter cam new HD timing chain and gears rebuilt mid-rise heads, with over sized valves, HD valve springs, keepers and retainers new edelbrock performer 390 4 bbl intake manifold new edelbrock HD water pump new HD oil pump and drive new front timing cover new HP edelbrock fuel pump new keith craft valve covers and air cleaner(black)(bad ass) new HD cross brace new rack & pinion steering system (wurth it designs) new NHRA approved tie rods and heim joints(all custom made) new custom steering bracket and clutch brackets new power steering pressure and return lines new pro comp. distributor and coil package(in box) new heater core (in box) good used heater plenum assembly(not installed) new harmonic balancer(liquid filled)(in box) new polished underdrive pullies(in box) new fatman sound proofing(1 roll) good used z-bar linkage assembly new clutch fork(in box) new under dash molded padding(in box) new black headliner(in box) new front wheels 18x8 boss motorsports new front sumitomo tires 255/35/18(0 miles) new rear wheels 20x8.5 boss motorsports new rear sumitomo tires 285/30/20(0 miles) new 1" rear wheel bolt on spacers, new wheel lugnuts all around entire body was take to a media blaster in menlo park, body, doors, hood, trunk, fenders, grille, brackets ect.(inside and out blasted with baking soda) floor and truck pans are great, entire underneath and inside body has been primered and under coated. outside body panel need some attention, found out after blasted(left rear tire edge rust repair, right side door jam needs body work, right rear corner needs body work, couple dent on roof(small), left front fender dents and drivers door has dents. nothing for a weekend body man can do.. it has all original windows in doors, 1/4 windows, front windshield and rear window. rear 1/4 window has a design etched in the glass(i bought it like that) car is in primer gray and ready for body work and finishing.. i have lots and lots parts for this car, all trim, gauges, tail lights, interior panels, front and rear seat, center console, front and rear bumpers. to much to list this car is a 390cid/4 speed/ac car, bucket seats with shifter in center console no shipping, buyer responsible for pickup and shipping at new owners expense it has a clear California title and is currently registered with a non-op status i have pink slip and current ca. plates. buyer will pay a $200.00 deposit with in 24 hours or email me with arrangements, remaining fund to be received when picking up vehicle no reserve i have more part that go with galaxie just too many other parts to list I injured my neck and lost movement in both arms and upper back area. so my projects must go, i have been working on this car off and on for about 7 years now and now it looks like i will not be able to finish it. so my lost is someones gain. this car has a lot done already, it will be one bad ass 1964 galaxie rest-o-mod when done. it will be a one of a kind car and a very cool ride please email me with any questionsOn Jan-25-12 at 11:29:30 PST, seller added the following information: picture are of car in current status,does not run, but rolls and stops.
