This listing is for a 1981 Jeep CJ-7 that I've owned since 1997. It has been my daily driver for many years. It is a good, solid Jeep that would be excellent every day driver or as a hunting vehicle. Jeep steers and drives like a car. It has a 258 straight six that was rebuilt back in 2000 with a good 5 speed manual transmission that shifts well with a model 300 transfer case that shifts smoothly, the locking hubs work fine. The front & rear brakes have been replaced last year with both front calipers & rotors and extended stainless steel brake lines. Brake and fuel lines were replaced 2 years ago. Jeep has wide trac axles front and rear from a 83 cj7, rear axle has Detroit locker, all ball joints, axle joints & wheel joints were replaced last year. Body tub is a steel tub removed from a 95 wrangler. Has 4 inch lift kit with a 1 3/8 shackle lift, dropped down pit man arm and heavy duty steering arm bracket and brace. Tires are Kelly safari LT33x12.50R15 on aluminum wheels tires have deep tread but do show signs of dry-roting. Interior carpet is black & was replaced back in 2000 front seats are gray cloth from a escort gt, rear seat is gray and is a fold and tumble from a jeep wrangler. Dash has new fuel and voltage gauge. with chrome dash cover. The windshield frame leaks a little in heavy rain. The radiator has just been replaced with a new aftermarket unit. I purchased new sun visors that are still in the box. Heater blows so nice and hot it will run you out of vehicle. Jeep has a white cj hardtop and full steel hard doors with fiberglass lift gate and heavy duty tire swing. The paint was done in 2000. There are a few very small rust spots on driver fender but they haven't grown or rusted threw. Jeep is 30 years old and is being sold as is! SELLING JEEP BECAUSE IM BUILDING A HOUSE AND ALL TOYS MUST GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
