CAR WILL NEED TOW BY BUYER! Location Zip 23116. Currently the motor has the spark plugs removed. The repair shop stopped work immediately upon diagnosing the motor as unrepairable, or at least not cost effective to fix. In 2010 I had a check engine light come on and the engine had some misfires, a repair was done on the sensor and it ran fine. I had noticed a loss of power recently and the engine over rev-ing. Shortly after that a check engine light came on and I had some misfires. I assumed it was the sensor again. I got a tune up and the performance improved but still ran a little rough and the loss of power was diagnosed as a slipping clutch. The following week, I tried to start it normally and there was a loud racket...a clicking/clacking sound. Two repair shops have said I need a new engine. Aparently the over-reving from the bad clutch put too much strain on the engine and a piece of the valve or something broke off inside the engine and is banging around. The #4 valve has no compression. The motor did start before diagnostic work was started, and the engine may be able to start if the spark plugs are replaced. I have not pursued that as didn't want to run up a labor bill at the repair shop. I am original owner. Car color is Infra Red with Dark Charcoal interior. MANUAL TRANSMISSION! The interior is clean but has wear and tear of 10 years. Exterior has no major problems, some paint chipping on hood and bumper, but structurally fenders, doors, bumpers trunk , hood all in very good condition. The battery is about a year old. Wipers good. Car needs a new engine and a clutch. CAR WILL NEED TO BE TOWED BY BUYER!!! Probably doesn't matter but I just did a tune up so has new spark plugs wires,etc. Has a brand new set of 4 Kelly 50K 185/65/14 tires installed 12/1/11.
