Up for sale at a LOW RESERVE is one mean Cuda and a very nice one at that! This car was professionally restored in the late '90s and is in excellent condition with new tires and a nice custom PPG paint job. Believe it or not, this car started out as an orange 318 Barracuda with a black vinyl top and luggage rack on the back, but it now sports the Cuda emblems to match a date correct, professionally rebuilt, 440-6pk (425+hp) engine with a 4-spd tranny and 8 3/4 410 posi rear end. This car has been garage kept and well cared for since I purchased it in 2007; several improvements have been made to include new hardware, weather-stripping, rear bumper, dynamat, armrests, shifter boot, trunk lid, spoiler brackets, emblems, hood, splash shields, parking lights, distributor, spark plugs, rear differential oil/seal, manual transmission oil, engine oil/filter, and cooling system flush. The interior is very nice with a pistol grip shifter, wood steering wheel, center console, rally gauges, new dash pad, new carpet, and new front seat foam and covers. This is a factory air car, but the compressor has been removed along with the radio; windshield wipers need a new motor; brakes and steering are manual. A real head turner and was once professionally photographed (see links below), this car was featured in a 2009 calendar for September before it received its shaker hood.
