The pictures pretty much say it all. I bought this car with the intent of making it my daily driver. The engine has never been fired. The 4 speed is a Super T10. The differential is a 12 bolt with 331 gears non-posi.The body is in respectable shape, no rust, but will need a professional body man to finish. All margins are even. All panels, including doors, sit flush. When I bought the car, in 1990, it had a sbc 350 with a recently refurbished 2 core Harrison radiator. This radiator, in my opinion, should not be used with the ZZ502. The bell housing has had inspection holes drilled in it, see picture. The driveshaft yolk is pitted - due to accidentally being left outside. Still needs front door panels, clutch, including clutch fork, electric fuel pump, header-back exhaust... see pictures. SS trim insert on dash is incorrect for 1968. Rear tires showing wear bars. Please understand that this is a project 138 code Chevelle and not a completly finished or yet drivable car. Except for:one back window piece bentone trim piece, on rear panel, dentedall wheel well trim dinged The front brake drums have been replaced with front discs off of '72 El Camino. This car has been garaged since 1985 and is currently registered inop, in California, with a clean and clear title. This 138 code Chevelle SS would be an excellent choice for a father and son project or a shop owner seeking a quick turnaround. Please ask questions and have money on-hand before bidding.
