1969 Mustang Fastback 428scj tribute. Big block 4 Speed Toploader with Dual Quad Holley 4bbls. Just about everything on this car is new or rebuilt. Body off restoration. DRIVETRAIN This 428 cobra jet engine starts right up and runs like a top.See photos for build date on engine.This is a true 428cj engine. Originally a 1969 fastback. Now a 428 scj Mach 1. Has a newly overhauled 428cj engine rebuilt, balanced and blueprinted with new harmonic balancer, hatchet spacer and balanced flywheel. Crank was turned 10 under,line bored,new TRW forged pistons,rings and pins,new bearings, new comp cam, new lifters, and push rods. Original to this engine are the 428CJ heads C80E.Has ground and seated valves, bronze guides, exhaust seats, heads surfaced,new valve seals.Approx 10.1 compression.Has the SCJ oil filter adapter,new lines to the oil cooler. Two rebuilt holley 600 Carbs. Dual Quad aluminum intake manifold. New 428cj exhaust manifolds. New H pipe and flow master 3" exhaust system. New power steering system, hoses and power steering cooler. New brake booster and brake lines. Complete brake system rebuild. 9 inch rear with 3.25 gear ratio. Big block 4 speed toploader transmission rebuilt with new clutch kit and new z bar and components.New fuel tank and line. New champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. All new hoses and belts. We have most receipts for this restoration. To many parts to list. BODY Entire body was rotisserie blasted down to bare metal. All bad sheet metal was professionally replaced and correctly welded and sealed.The whole shell was epoxy coated.Under the car was also epoxy coated and painted with por 15 black.Very nice. Has new Boss 429 hood scoop and new hood tach. New windshield glass. New door shells. New weather stripping all around.Trim is in good shape. Medium Dark green base clear with a few imperfections that can be easily buffed and fixed.Driver quality now. New air shocks and front shocks.new upper and lower control arms.New front springs and new rear leaf springs.Rebuilt steering box and steering components including new tie rod ends,bushings etc... New steering column and steering wheel.Traction ladder bars to keep you on the road. New tires; 50's on the rear and 60's on the front with raised white letters on the inside. Can be turned around if you like the raised white letter look. INTERIOR Complete black Mach 1 interior.New mach 1 carpet,new bucket seat foam,front bucket and rear seat covers installed professionally, new high quality dash pad,new top of the line center console, new electro luminescent instrument panel thats very nice, new headliner, new mach 1 door panels, window cranks,door fuzzies, etc... We have tons of photo's, during and after restoration.
