For sale here is my wifes 2000 A6 Quattro with the 4.2 liter V8 engine. I assume that since we purchased this car under the certified pre-owned program from an Audi dealer we are the second owner of this car. We purchased in 2004. She used this car mainly for transportation to and from work. Due to the size of our family this was not our primary car. This car has been maintained mainly by a foriegn car mechanic in our town and myself. I do all oil changes. Below is a list of things we had done to the car. * Tinted Windows * New timing belt. Should be good for another 90,000 miles * New instrument cluster. Had replaced under the CPO program at dealer cost due to one bad light. Very costly * Oil leak recently repaired. * Transmission fluid changed. Manual says its never change but I beleive that any fluid that collects dirt should be changed. Found where Audi dealer has it done. * New water pump when timing belt changed * Oil changed my me every 4000 miles. Much earlier than recomended. * Fuel injector cleaner added at every oil change. * All fluids associated with all wheel drive system changed as preventative measurement. * Vacuum lines replaced due to ECM codes popping up As you can tell from the pictures this car has been well maintained. The exterior was wax by me at least twice a year. The interior was alos maintained regularly. The leather and carpet was cleaned and shampooed every year. As you can see from the pictures the right rear quarter has some small dents. These showed up after some rakes fell into the panel as it sat in my garage. I've always felt that since the paint was not harmed and there are no creases in the metal a painless dent professional could repair them. Another upgrade we did was to purchase snow tires on an extra set of alloy rims. The car is all wheel drive and we drove it through several winters on the stock tires I felt that they were a little wide and sporty to drive my family around in the winter. The snow tires are Michelin Aplins and have most of the tread on them. The alloys have chipping paint and to make perfect will need to be re-painted. We never did because they were only on a few months a year. You can see from the pictures that we also replaced the stock rims. We did this because when purchased they showed a lot of scrapes from curbs. We get many comments on the new BBS rims. One rims is bent. It is not bad enough to cause the car to need a re-balancing or alignment and can be fixed. Again the winning bidder will get the stock rims that are in my basement. We have this priced very cheap because we are currently not using the car. If you check out other listings they are much higher priced with more mileage on the clock. Since we have this listed on other sites we resreve the right to stop the auction at any time. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
