This auction is for a 1999 Lincoln Navigator 4x4 model. I've had it for several years as my primary vehicle. A few months ago I bought another vehicle and most recently I bought a diesel so we just don't need it. The truck recently has developed some issues so we stopped driving it and it's being sold no reserve, no warranty, clear title as-is. Here's the description and information on everything.Within the last 3 months ALL these issues have developed. Before that the only issue was with the heat/ac. It still works but required an additional step. All the other issues are new as of recently. Motor - Starts right up and idles but I don't believe it's firing on all 8 cylinders. The spark plugs in the back of the motor have never been replaced to my knowledge and I know they are no good. It's causing the engine to stall out from time to time and runs very poorly.Transmission- Perfect condition, it shifts into all the gears as intended and is actually newer than the truck. It was replaced a while back and it doesn't have a warranty anymore but is still newer than the rest of the truck.Four Wheel Drive- It doesn't work anymore. It did and if you look at the picture of the dash you will see that ALL the 4x4 lights are on and stay on. It use to work with just the twist of the switch but no more.Rims & Tires- The chrome factory rims are in excellent shape and the tires are only about a year old. They are michelin tires with something like a 40,000-45,000 mile tread life on them and I'd say they might have 6-7,000 miles since installed.Maintenance- If you go to jiffylube.com you can email them the vin number and get a history report of the service changes. I had all the fluids changed there in the last time I was there I had the fluids flushed in the rear axle and replaced. (The transmission was serviced when the replacement was installed jiffy lube didn't do that)Heat and AC- There is a hose on the right side under the hood near the firewall that I have to clamp with a pair of vise grips in order to make the AC blow cold. When heat is needed simply remove the vise grips. The dealer told me it was something pretty major and would cost me well over a $1000 to fix it or I could clamp the hose like I've been doing. Again the heat and AC work but it's a little more than just turning them on and off.Suspension- The truck rides on an airbag suspension and just like the interior lights it has stopped working. What this means is the pump will not auto level the truck under tow and over time the rear slowly starts to deflate causing the truck to ride low in the rear. I have and will before the winner shows up connect an air hose to it and pump the rear back up. Once it's pumped it it'll stay that way for a few weeks before slowly riding low in the rear again. It appears the compressor has gone up but with the dash light and everything happening all at once I can't be 100% sure.Other- I have 1 key for the truck. I do know the key code for keyless access and the winner will be given that information. All the doors, gauges, power seats (both driver and passenger) hatch, glass, locks etc. all work as intended unless otherwise discussed above. My family and I have driven this vehicle from our home in Maryland to our home in North Carolina over 100 times since owned without problems. I have also used it to pull my boat from the water and pulled our pop-up camper. I've driven this truck several hundred miles at a time without any issues. It was a great running, driving truck but now it needs some serious work. I would not recommed anyone driving the truck long distance until the motor is at least serviced with a complete tune up. All my problems started when I towed a boat to North Carolina towards the end of last year. (It's actually not the boat in the pictures below. The boat I towed was smalled.) During my drive to North Carolina the engine started to mis and I think that's what finally did in the spark plugs towards the fire wall. I was told several times to replace them but never did. The other plugs were replaced and when they were removed it was pretty obvious they needed to be done however at the time (I did it) and the difficulty of reaching the back of the motor I opted to leave them in. The other dash lights (4x4 etc.) came on the last time it was driven so that's when I decided it's time to sell it. Again this truck starts, runs, shifts etc but the motor needs what I believe to be a complete tune up before it'll run properly and with the lights and suspension I have no idea.Please, please, please email me if you are interested in the truck but have questions before you bid.
