1975 Jade Green CB550 This is a really nice example of a well cared for vintage bike with about 15,000 original miles. It has been running flawlessly till a couple months ago it dropped a valve on cylinder #3. The valve will need to be replaced as well as the piston. It might be a good idea to re-ring the whole set while the top end is off. You can keep the engine in the bike to take the top end off. Great winter project that should be fairly simple and straight forward for those who are mechanically inclined or take it into a shop. The paint is original and nice. A little fading on the tank and some light scratches that you can't really see till you are up close...they did not come up in the pictures. No dents and the tank is clean on the inside. Chrome is very nice with no rust or pitting. Original 4into4 exhaust in really nice shape with a weld repair on one pipe. Horn, lights, blinkers, electric start all work. New swing arm bushings and headset bearings installed at 12k miles. Brakes in good shape. Sprockets, chain, and tires have a lot of life left. Seat has a nicely done recover. It's a great all around bike small enough for around town use but also handles great and has plenty of power for long trips. I have 7 motorcycles and don't have the space or money to fix and keep this one. I would like to see her go to a good home and get ridden. Comes with a nice OEM rear rack.
