Here is A 71 Volkswagen Beetle Running Project car. I got this from a family with the classic story bought for son started restoration, Then son went into millitary and the parents are moving so it had to go. Body: The car has had new full floor pans on both sides, front and rear center approns installed profesionally. There is still rust holes in the floor panel behind the rear seat. That they said didn't see that they needed the panel when the work was done and were going to come back to it. Has all new fenders, Cal custom style up front to move the turnsignals off the tops of fenders. New front hood. Most all new panels still have the manufacturer stickers on them. Engine hood has the spacer plates to give the Cal Look and open air flow there is a crease/ dent on the roof. missing passenger running board. Has the head light rings with the eyebrow. Missing one head light bucket. tail light lenses are good but missing one mounting body. original front turn signals. Original front and rear driver fenders, hood and one bumper all have dents dings and bends. The trim holes have started to be filled ( looks like they were just bondoing them in). No trim strips All glass is good. The windshield in it has a crack down center, have replacement windshield. back and one rear side glass are out of car but included. Interior: The interior will need redone. The rear seat and rear side panels are missing. tears in headliner. The dash has a peace of aluminum riveted on to smooth out for a custom look. Front seats are good with only a inch diameter hole in the driver side. Visors are there. Windows roll up and down fine. Motor?trans: Looks to be a stock 1600. Starts and runs well, shifts thru all gears and stops. Was told has new clutch. And believe as there is a new transaxle mount and strap kit, and the axle boots look new. Has A new or rebuilt solex carb. New tires and a good spare. Also the original Jack( getting harder to find) Missing some minor odds and ends but mostly complete project. With a clear title. and running, Not much to make a driver. As you can see from my other listing just to many projects and need to part with some to get others done.
