Here we have a 1953 Chevrolet 210 Sedan that I'm selling for my son. He bought it as a project to restore over winter but he found a Trans Am and we would rather see the car go to someone who will do something with it. He bought it because we know most of the history on this car. It was bought new by a local doctor who then sold it to a local realator. The realator drove it until 1976 when the rear window got smashed out so he parked it in his barn and drove the other vehicles he owned. He periodically started it up and drove it around his property. He had intentions of restoring it and started in 1995 by getting it running top notch (see one of the reciepts from 1995- work was done by a good friend of my brother in law). Unfortunatly, he passed away and the project was forgotten. This summer, the farm he lived on was bought and construction began on a new house and barn, so the old farmhouse and barn was torn down, which is when we bought the car. The car recieved TONS of attention while sitting on the rollback at the dealership when we picked it up. These cars are getting harder and harder to find every day and draw TONS of attention! Now, some information on the car: All original, unmolested. Two tone Woodland Green and India Ivory. Straight 6 Chevrolet Engine, Three speed on the column manual trans, mainly only surface rust, some thru rust on the rear wheel wells and the drivers side fender above the headlight(common for all the 50's Bel Airs.) All the glass is intact except the rear window. 61,xxx original miles. Car is 99% complete - missing some side trim chrome, rear window, and one hubcap. Interior is fair but not too bad for being a 59 year old original car, original door panels excellent, just need to be cleaned up. Seats have covers on them. We pulled up some of the rear carpet on the driver's side in the back and the floorboards looked perfect! Bumpers and grille are straight but need to be rechromed. The original spare tire is still in the trunk (i believe there is also the jack but im not sure.) All of the contents except the battery are still under the hood (has the original glass windshield washer fluid container) and the hood latches and stays up with no problems. All the doors open, close, and latch as they should. The PA license plate and Triple A license plate topper are NOT included and will be removed before the car is sold. There is no title and no keys for this car. The ignition is not locked, meaning it turns without the keys. Obviously, this car will need to be towed to it's new home. All the wheels roll so it can easily be winched up onto your rollback or trailer. All of the tires are dryrotted, but they all hold air (the rear driver's side tire has a slow leak-stays filled for 2 months or so.)
