Vehicle Detail
This is an all original Long bed or standard bed 1975 Ford Ranger F100 Hunter Green with dark tan interior with a 390 engine I believe its original but do not know. Its runs very strong and has alot of power. Power brakes, A/C, 4 speed manual shift CB radio, and all options on this year except power steering. It has been very well taken care of and has original paint that from 20 feet away looks marvelous. Up close you have your 35 years of minor scratches, dings and sun damage. All original hubcaps, all chrome, rear sliding window etc etc like new all 4 tires. I just put a $700 complete new exhaust system on it that is dual exhaust into a single rear pipe. This week I had a new rebuilt carburetor installed. It runs great and I would drive it anywhere and I get many compliments. I bought this to keep it but unfortunately things have changed and I need to use the money. It is truly a great looking truck that will not disappoint you. I have the receipts for the carb I think around ($400) Brakes are good I don’t think it needs anything else. I have not used the A/C so I would imagine you need to re fill the freon. There is one drip of oil under the engine from something other than that no problems, the radio works mos of the time but should be replaced its not original. It is a true california truck as far as with no rust anywhere other than minor small surface patches where it was scratched and a little surface rust under the rubber mat in truck bed. Over all the paint is good the driver door being the worst which is cracked and discolored the roof and hood has some surface rust that I polished over and it mostly dissapeared. Its not a show truck by any means but definatley one of the best looking solid, complete trucks for a 1975. I took an old shell off the back when I bought it that I think has been on the truck most of its life. I also installed a larger capacity radiator only becuase one came with the truck brand new in the box when I bought the truck. Blinkers work one doesnt reset though th eother does, dome light and underdash lights work. I tried to list everythign good and bad. Ask as many questions as you want. I have it for sale in other places as well and reserve the right to remove it from this auction at anytime.
